Filthy at best!!!Posted May 26, 2015
The room did not smell clean or fresh at all. The carpet clearly hadn't been vacuumed and the bathroom had been simply straightened up and not cleaned. The tub was dirty!!! I had to spray the entire bathroom with disinfectant. The hotel staff....so unprofessional in appearance. They acted as if they really didn't want to be bothered. Will never stay here AGAIN!!!

worst hotel experience EVERPosted May 25, 2015 on Hotels
MAJOR renovation construction under way. HALF of hotel rooms stripped and hallways and rooms cluttered with drywall and construction materials, carpet gone, doors missing etc. Looked like a war zone. Lobby hall gutted. Construction on outside face of building also. Major dust everywhere. Took 45 minutes to check in due to Hotels.com not forwarding reservation info and resulting front desk coordination problems resolving reservation. Hotel desk was courteous and persistent but slow to get results. Once assigned a room, had to change rooms because air conditioning didn't work. Given room right adjacent to construction area with substantial dust and materials right outside door. Lobby computer internet didn't work. Wifi inop part of the time. Phone keep flashing there was voice mail but could not be reset. Breakfast marginal. Should have been warned on website about construction. Worst hotel experience ever.

Nice place was under restoration when we stayed there other than that staff was friendly and in a nice location.

clean and comfortablePosted May 15, 2015 on Hotels
Arrived late to a friendly and helpful night desk clerk who promptly checked us in and made us aware of the renovations taking place at the hotel. The room was clean and about what I expected. We hit the bed and prompty fell asleep. Good stay for all intents and purposes.

Good sleep, not so great bathroomPosted May 14, 2015 on Hotels
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was being re-furbished, so there was construction materials in places. The pastries were not as fresh as they could have been on the continental breakfast, but the juice was delicious. The only suggestions I might have was a better shower curtain rod, the one in the bath I had was extremely cheap; and much better quality toilet paper. What was in the bathroom was terrible.

Accomodating Staff, Dust Horrible!Posted May 13, 2015 on Hotels
The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The guest room I stayed in was clean and the bed was comfortable. My stay was nice except for the was construction going on right next to my room. The dust was HORRIBLE! I thank God they were not there on Saturday morning because I had to wear dress attire to an event I was going to attend.

Under ConstructionPosted May 11, 2015
Location: Restaurants, WSU, WPAFB, Well situated hotel, Can be a little difficult to find because it is up in the cut further to the back off the main street.
When we arrived the parking lot was vacant and there was a ladder and there looked to be construction going on. We were not notified by Expedia that the hotel was under construction at time of booking. Turns out that the hotel will soon be a Laquinta Inn. I went inside to see if they were open and operational and they were. I booked a double. The attendant notified me that it may not have been cleaned but asked me to go and check. I went and checked, it was clean but reeked on construction related smells. I went down and asked for another room. was given a better room but only a single bed. We had booked a double. Did not want to go through changing rooms again. The next morning my daughter went to front desk to check us out and the attendant said we were given the key to the wrong room and we were supposed to be in room 204 not 205. Which would have been the comparable double. The customer service was good. The manager walked the floor to ask if the guests were comfortable. I have stayed here several times before but this was the first time there were any issues. the location is good. wish we had of been told of construction prior to visit and that our rooms were ready to go.
