Very happy with our stay, we had an issue with the shower head and maintenance came quickly and fixed the problem. Restaurant was great as well and so was the staff.

The Marriott at the University of Dayton was clean and looked like it had been recently renovated. Some staff were very helpful and friendly, others were less so. The light in my bathroom shower was out and couldn't be repaired that day, so showering was a dark experience! But since my stay was short, I decided to deal with it. I would have liked to have had a microwave in my room, (to make hot tea) as I often have in other Marriotts and hotels I've stayed in. There was a small fridge, which was helpful. Water is $6 per 1 liter bottle at the lobby "market" which seemed like a rip-off, especially since there weren't any other places I could find in the immediate area where I could get less expensive water. My room had a door to a connecting room (though it was locked), and I could hear things in the other room alarmingly clearly, probably due to the noticeable gap at the bottom of the door. A nice bonus was that the TV could stream YouTube (for free) so I set it to play white noise to drown out other noises. I realize this review sounds rather negative! The most important thing I want from a hotel is cleanliness and relative newness, and this hotel delivered in those aspects. I would consider staying here again, though next time I would ask for a non-connecting room, and bring my own water!

It was great overall. Only complaint is that the bathroom doors do not offer much privacy. Barndoor style with opaque glass. Other than that everything was absolutely WONDEFUL!

Check in and out were smooth and courteous. Notices for what was available and that we could expect at the facility, were offered, both written and orally. The room was readied for the second day, stay with total concern for our privacy and personal belongings.

We went for my daughter graduation from U of D. We found someone elses dirty socks on the floor in the corner of the room! The rest of the room seemed clean a d we had already moved all of our things in, so we didnt bother moving rooms or complaining. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious!

Convenient to campus
Hotel is very nice and clean. Shower water pressure is insane! I had a hard time finding the coffee in the lobby the first day. Having to check out of the lobby convenience store at the front desk was inconvenient but not a big deal. Beds were incredible comfortable. We would definitely stay again!!!

This hotel was very clean and well maintained, the staff was very nice, and the amenities were great. I liked that it had a pool, a restaurant, a gym, and a mini store. Overall, it was a great experience.
