Hotel & room could use some updates. Door locks seemed like replacements, didn't line up right to secure. Door trim falling off. Smokey smell in room, worse in hall way.

Needed a Quick place to catch 8 hours sleep

Pros: Good location, friendly staff.
Cons: Parking, was tight, I noticed non of the video surveillance cameras were working.
Location: Close to the college and many antique malls also Downtown Springfield.
Check in was fast and friendly, the room was clean and convenient.

Be very cautious!

Room was not clean. Looked like someone put a pizza and coke on a ceiling fan and let it spin shooting stuff all over the walls. If you are particular about where you stay, do not stay here. Seems like a party place. People drinking out front. Kids running all over all night. Got no sleep, waste of money, checked out exhausted. Also, the doors have like a 3" gap to the floor. Someone could easily slide their whole arm under the door.

Never Again

I was told that my hotel was 10 minutes from where my "destination" was. It was actually 38 minutes away. Also I booked a non smoking room and got smoking. Hotel had not other rooms available to move me. I could hear people on theirs floor stomping around, I could hear every noise from the hall and my bedding looked dirty.

The staff was friendly and helpful but the building is showing its age a little. Our window to the outside was cracked and foggy. The bedding was very comfortable as was the bed. The pool was smaller but we practically had it to ourselves. Breakfast was good. Our room was a suite, with 2 distinct parts, which was a nice surprise. We had our own microwave and frig. Everything was clean.

Nice until the family of mice took over making a relaxing day turned into afraid to walk to the bathroom. Two nights and didn't end worth the money I paid. Will not return to the hotel again. Paid $160. or more to do nothing but sleep and then after the mice arrived the first day, should of been free. Told at check out and I got stares instead of apologies.

Good Stopover

Good one-night stop-over option. Bed was not super comfy and the lotion, weirdly, expired in 12/14, but it was fine for what it was. The breakfast was surprisingly decent for a continental. Scrambled eggs, pancakes, and gravy that contained actual sausage.
