Front desk upon arrival around 11p Apr 9 Tues evening was probably the worst I've ever experienced. No greeting, or hello...just immediately said what the deposit requirements were and how he didn't even get a chance to count drawers yet, he just walked in before I had arrived as well. Demeanor was as if I had annoyed him and disturbed his evening. He gave information, processed the transaction but like an agitated robot. Won't ever use that one again especially since there was a weird order in the room and the wallpaper falling off in the shower, possibly mold. I only tolerated it because it was late and only 1 night.

The halls and rooms are clean and quiet. TVs are large and they have many pay channels like HBO and MAX. Day staff are friendly and knowledgeable and willing to help with questions about the area. Nightshift guy is rude and undfriendly and doesn't want to be disturbed, so hit up the day staff with questions before he comes on duty.

Overall, you get what you pay for. The hotel is cheaper than others in the area, but that comes at a cost of the hotel looking a bit tired with peeling paint.

Amazing staff

It was very convenient for the visit I had to make. Staff very friendly. Room very quiet. Bathroom could use some maintenance, but everything worked well. Only real complaint was being unable to operate the spectrum tv remote successfully.

In its class as an economy motel, we were pleased. I liked that the room was decorated in earth tones with big photos of Ohio scenes. The continental breakfast was adequate but below average with waffles, two choices of cereal, two choices of bread, bananas, o.j, milk, and coffee. The staff was attentive and cordial. The location was near lots of restaurants and the Dayton Mall, and I-75 is easily accessible. All in all, good value.

I stayed one night with other people and we liked it! It wasn't the tidiest; our window had a huge crack, our mini fridge was broken, and the furniture was stained, but that wasn't a huge issue since we only stayed one night. The woman at the front desk was really sweet :) and the beds were comfortable.

Damped smell, noisy, uncomfortable beds. The first room (#102) is given near the electrical room, which had mettalic noise every 10 mins. Requested room change ar 2:30 AM. The second room (I was told it was the best room in the hotel) had another story. As soon as the A/C unit was turned. A damped, wet sock smell filled the entire room. Had to turn it off. Then all I heard was people walking in the upstairs. Could not sleep the whole night. Even though I was given a 'non-smoky' room, I could smell ciggarette smell inside and more on outside of the room. I should be given the dollar back.

I chose this hotel because the listing said it was family friendly and offered cribs/pack and play. My daughter is 18 months so it’s ok for her sleep with us but I was perturbed when they said they didn’t have anything like that. The check in took a ridiculous amount of time. There was only one employee and I don’t think they trained her enough to leave her alone. Felt bad for her, a line was forming but it was not good. Then, in the morning, while my husband was packing and checking around for stuff, he found a knife under our bed. A gnarly switchblade. We took it the front desk expecting money back or an apology but she just said “oh, guess house keeping hasn’t seen this” but how scary is that, especially with a baby in the room with us! The smell was of stale cigarettes and everything was subpar at best.
