In all of my travels I've never seen anything like this. Don't waste your time here like we did. I stood waiting as "Stacy", the front desk attendant had two cell phones on speaker listening to her angry friends arguing (inculding profanities) but finally took my ID and charge card. A few minutes later her call was done and she said Days Inn had not received payment yet from Expedia and I had to call them "since they are a third party". The funds had already been withdrawn from my bank, and we had called to confirm our room reservation on our long drive from the airport. My wife offered to charge our room to another card, but Stacy still dismissed us while excused herself from any service. They seemed to have plenty of vacancies but she apparently didn't want to do business with us simply saying we couldn't stay. Wow. So we simply went across the street to Springfield Hampton Inn, which was a great value and had excellent service. I worry for Days Inn - how can they stay in business like this, and how will Stacy earn a living if she doesn't get some remedial training?
