My wife and I came here for a weekend away, it is a beautiful property and a great location. Our view was of the intercoastal water way from the balcony. It happened to be the night that the Christmas boat parade was going on, which made it even more beautiful for an evening on the balcony, and of course more expensive of a stay. It was very relaxing until Sunday morning when their landscaping maintenance crew showed up at 8am when our breakfast was brought to our room. This is advertised as a bed and breakfast with the highlight being having your breakfast delivered to your room and eating it on the balcony overlooking the water. Instead, as we started eating breakfast, the gardener started mowing the lawns throughout the property, but began in front where the rooms with balcony's were. In addition, they also used their blowers which kicks up dust, etc everywhere. Needless to say, what my wife and I thought was going to be a nice breakfast with a view turned into a quick retreat to the room. We ended up leaving our stay early just to get some peace and quiet elsewhere. It ruined the bed and breakfast feel. Breakfast is supposed to be the culmination of a wonderful weekend at a bed breakfast, but our stay didn't not end up that way.
I don't understand why the landscaping would not be done after an 11am checkout, or at least after their last 9am delivery time for breakfast. I am surprised that out of all mornings to have the landscaping done, they choose the morning after the
