We visited during the off season, and a few months after a hurricane hit. It was noticeable. I dont blame the hotel for any damages to the hotel. However, our room smelled bad, almosg like a moldy/musty smell. This made our stay in the room less than desirable.

Pros: Close to the beacb
Cons: Burn it down and rebuild. Start by changing the breakfast quality. We are paying customers not homeless people.
Location: Na
Rundown rooms, stay away from the free breakfast, staff doesn't care. If u get a really good deal, then OK for single people. Stay away if u are traveling with family.

Poor Employee training

The employee who checked us in was wonderful. It went downhill from there We were locked in our room at 1am. The employee told us we would have to wait for maintenance The dead bolt was stuck. She then blamed it on us. My husband finally got it unlocked. But then we could or lock the door. For the rest of the night. The clerk at check out said he didn't believe us. They also called us 4 times after 11 am checkout time. When we explained our situaion they again did not believe us. It's a shame because we did like the hotel and the location. They need to train their staff on how to treat their customers

Tell it as it is

I tell it as it is , I've stayed here before and tell everyone this because sometimes things change and at this location it just gets better. Due to damage by hurricane this location needs repair meaning it can only get better. It is a great place to stay and the outside is the only thing that needs repair. Oh also get your sodas and goodies before you get there or just walk 2 blocks because the vending machines are empty most of the time

Pros: close to everything
Cons: cleaning staff isnt that nice
Location: board walk shoping golf movies nice little bar with music across the street
we have been here many times always have a great time

Rooms were very clean.

We had water leaking in the bathroom from the room above us. We were moved & taken care of right away. The next day in our new room, when taking a shower the tub was draining very slowly. We were checking out. I did tell housekeeping when I saw them.

Customer service was great. Room was okay.

Overall my stay was okay. The music from the bar across from us made the stay unbearable. They played outside until midnight and I couldn't sleep because it was loud.

Find another hotel

Staff was extremely unpleasant. Booked a room for 6 and they acted like I was trying to steal a towel when we requested another since they only put 4 in room. Breakfast was exactly the same each day. Threw the toilet paper and toiletries near door on dresser when they somewhat cleaned. Location is great if u don't plan to do anything but sleep and shower it's not too bad otherwise go somewhere else!

Motel was conveinantly location to all areas of the beach side of Daytona and to the Race Track..... Breakfast buffet was good only downside was room had not been clean properly as there was sand all over the floor in the room.My wife got a broom from house keeping swept the floor and was fine after that.
