Very unfriendly front desk staff.- Hotel is dated.

The front desk staff was very unfriendly at check in and at check out. There was only one pop machine located in the entire hotel and it was empty the whole time we were there. No other vending machines around. The ice machine did not work either. The breakfast was located in an area that is not air conditioned. The doors were locked to get into the breakfast area past the time it was supposed to open. We had to walk down to the lobby and up some stairs to the breakfast area. We told the front desk as we walked by and they said that the doors are on a timer and only open during breakfast time. It was 15 mins past breakfast time and people were standing outside trying to get in. When we told the front desk they just said, "Oh the timers must by off" They did not care that people were upstairs trying to get in. I said hello to the lady working the breakfast area and she didn't acknowledge me or even break a smile. Very unfriendly also. We had to go to the hotel next door to get a soda, snack, and a smile. Someone even held open the front door at the hotel next door as we walked in to get something out of their vend machines. The room was pretty spacious!! Did not have carpet which was nice with all the sand from the beach. The A/C above us dripped onto our window sill and kept us up all night listening to drip...drip...drip. Finally decided to lay a towel out on our sill to absorb the sound. Parking was limited and had to double park or park in small underground garage.
