Close to beach

Hotel was close to the beach. The bath tub had a couple of cracks in it and the water collected between the tub cover and original tub.

Area is a bit run-down - hotel could use updating

Pros: price - beachfront
Cons: outside of building looks a bit dated/run-down.
Location: The location of the hotel was convenient to other beaches and attractions to the north/south. Many things to do within 45 minutes of hotel.
The room was clean and furnishings were on the newer side. Carpet was clean. Bathroom was very clean. The elevators are old and dated looking. mural on wall on 7th floor is very tacky. Hallway smelled musty. Main lobby ok. Outside of building could use updating. Staff was helpful. Surrounding area not the prettiest in Daytona. Being on the ocean was great, with easy access to beach. A very large roach had thought he found a home in our suitcase while it was in room. Not all that surprising in FL.

Relaxing

Very accommodating. We were way too early and they let us check in earlier. My only complaint is the breakfast closes too early and I'm not a morning person and they won't let you take food to your room. Aside from that I had a great time.

Lumpy mattress, room key had to be reprogrammed twice, good access to beach, good parking, very basic continental breakfast, had cold water for shower two times

Pros: On the beach.
Cons: Noisy air conditioners.
Location: On the beach.
No restaurant, very limited bar hours. Breakfast is minimal. I never would have imagined that cereal bowls could be that small. People...please don't stand in line to wait for the toaster, they will get done eventually. Go around if you want some of the watery orange juice.

Great for money/ remote broke but not fixed

Great for $$ paid resort free included free DVDs but remote broke and not fixed so no free movies for our $37 fee. Tiki pool bar great too

The beds need updatING uncomfortable never slept

Horrible w/ hotel beds hard as rock no plug 4 tub some lamps not work screaming kid next door all night , vulgar, rude, drunk teens in pool sat. Night throwing beer, & coolers. So 2 nights we never slept !! Suroundings was awesome, beach , etc. The pool waiter carded me lol felt good thought I was in my 20's , I'm 41 . Made me feel good , but if bed was different I think experience would be..

don't stay more then one night

Pros: It was on the beach.
Cons: Everything. The hotel is old and outdated.
Location: Stayed only one night, did not explore the area.
Mold in bathroom,very noisy air conditioning unit, ceiling fan blades were caked with dirt. As we stepped off the elevator my granddaughter stated the hallway smelled like cat urine. Continental breakfast consisted of bread/toast, frozen waffles and pancakes, 3 cereal's.
