Doors would not lock. Closet door broke. Parking lot scary. Seemed to be hangout for locals. Not family friendly. Overall run down and dirty! But view from back looking at beach beautiful! Hope to not stay again!!!! We like first floor rooms so I guess it wad a trade off to have that.

Unfortunately, I could not sleep in the bed

Pros: View of the beach from the balcony, parking was included, unit had good kitchenette
Cons: Manager that responds to customers request. Check rooms for working door locks and beds.
Location: beach, shopping, restaurants,
Had another ocean-view room been available, I would have moved rooms, but it was not, so I patiently waited as the door lock was replaced and TV remote replaced on my 1st night. Sadly, late in the night, I discovered the bed was broken so I had to sleep on the couch. I reported this before leaving for the day, but it was NOT fixed. The evening front desk person was kind enough to TRY to fix it, but was unable... so I was stuck with the couch again since I valued the oceanfront that made me select this location. Luckily, I had only booked for 2 nights. Unfortunately, I booked this through Orbitz, so the hotel would not issue a partial refund and the manager NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS. I would say that Spring Break college students may LOVE this place based on the location. And, families looking for a no-frills hotel close to the beach would be fine. However, PLEASE be sure to lay on the beds to make sure the previous customers did not break it.

The checkin people were very nice. The hotel is old & needs cleaning up n renovation. The phone in room did not work. Internet/wify did not work. Not much to watch on TV.

Price is ok for the location

Not the best, not the worst. Close to the boardwalk and Main Street. If you use the pool make sure is Day light. As soon as it gets little dark, the security guard is gonna ask you to get out of the pool.understandable since there is no lights in the pool (strange)

Upon check in we were informed the ac was down,but would be working soon. It never got resolved. But wait there is more!!! Ocean front room with a balcony door that would not open,and a window that was corroded shut lol. Back around 1am from a night of beach bar hoping,the desk clerk had to come up and remove the balcony door dead bolt and door handle. Thank god we were hammered because we passed out. The hotel is in ill repair and desperately needs work done. Stayed here in the past and was pleased. This stay was awful.

Bungled reservation. Eventually got it sorted out. Lots of construction at hotel. Location good.

Good location; needs some improvement

We understand this area had an indirect impact from Hurricane Matthew. The construction that is still being finished up is completely understandable and was of minimal inconvenience. However, we stayed in four different rooms over spring break and two of them had issues that seem easy to resolve. There was a strong odor in one of the rooms that we couldn't really identify and the blinds had entire sections cut out and the drapes were far too small to completely cover the windows. As such, anyone walking by could easily look inside. The other room had rust-colored water coming from the bathtub faucet. The balcony view from the ocean view rooms was very nice and these rooms were very decent and well-appointed. The restaurant on property was very good and had great service, including free Thursday pool tables. The resort is close to everything and it does have a nice pool (a little too cold to swim while we were there). I would stay here again, but I would want to see the property improve the issues with the rooms. Service was pretty decent although check-in was a bit slow (still have to fill out guest cards for each room. This could be a local ordinance requiring it, but it seems like something they could print from a computer for the guest to sign).

My husband and I stayed in room 122. After reading reviews we almost didn't book this room, but the location was awesome so we did. Well to our surprise the room was awesome! It was very beachy decorated. The view was oceanfront and beautiful, right over the pool too. Shower was great. The beds slept great. We even ended up staying an extra night and Nicole let us stay in the same room. We had a great experience at this hotel and will definitely be back.

great location.....terrible room service

Great location....room was terrible and dirty. Bath faucet was coming out of the shower wall. White socks wee BLACK after waking in the "clean" floor.....
