Love the tropical ambience and the quiet, cozy air to the place. The parking was a fight with the public beach access right there but I love that you can hop on the beach with your car and cruise down to the boardwalk. We came at the end of the truck rally so all the big trucks were coming off the beach in droves right there. Definitely want to watch your kids in that area. The pool was awesome as always! Laundry on site ...but no food. Pop machine was empty all week and even though the website stated meals included, this hotel doesn't have a kitchen. My key cards had to be activated every day. That was annoying.

Thank you for your review I am glad you enjoyed your stay most of the time the beach ramp is a non issue but when they are having a parade on the beach it is. I am sorry about the coke machine and your key. The keys go blank when put it next to a magnet. The option on the Expedia websites does not let me specify welcome drink I am sorry for the confusion. Thank you Jody

Thank you I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I am sorry you were unable to find things to entertain your nephew. Daytona beach is a destination that requires a car. There are lots of things to do in a short drive.

Easy access, nice beach location, ac worked well, comfortable bed, but in the middle of summer you need an ice machine we walked to the quickie mart everyday for ice!!

Loved it - would definitely stay again!

We loved this adorable little hotel! It had everything we needed, was right on the beach and it looked like the bathrooms were newly renovated, they were really nice. The wifi was a bit sketchy, but we were there for the beach not the internet so it worked for us!

Thank you I am glad you had great time and enjoyed your stay I am sorry you had a problem with the WIFI. That is operated by spectrum and there is a 24/7 help line to call on the log in page if you have any problems.

Great family place on the beach

Nice little place with old Florida vibe. We stayed in roomy 3 bedroom villa with small kitchen, comfy beds and 2 updated baths. 2 kings and 2 queens, sleeps 8. Great beachfront convenience, well kept grounds, nice pool. Good value. We would stay here again.

Not what I expect for the price

Posted Jun 18, 2017 on Hotels
It's much smaller that I thought it would be. I was expecting a bigger establishment all together. But it was clean, the pool was nice (no lights at night though) and direct beach access. However, the matttess cover that was under the sheets I found, after having slept there already, had what definitely looked like blood that wasn't washed out. That's a safety hazard. There was no "do not disturb" or "please come back" option so we never had our rooms cleaned out since the time they'd knock was always inopportune for us. At over $100 a night, I expected something nicer. There's also an AC unit, no central air. The shower was the size of a closet.

I am sorry we were not what you expected. We are a small hotel and very proud to be. We do have listed on this site the size of the rooms and the size of the hotel. We also have listed all of our amenities witch include great personalized service because we are a small hotel, a welcome drink at check in, and beach chairs on the beach. The lights at night are on a motion sensor because of the sea turtles. I am sorry your particular room did not have a do not disturb sign most do and they are usually replaced when they go missing. You could have told the maid when a good time would be to come back and you would have got service while you were here. Most hotels in Daytona do not have central air. I am also sorry you did not like the new shower with a rainhead. There are lots of hotels in Daytona Beach I do hope you research the place you want to stay before you book it next time so it is exactly what you expect it to be. Thank you Jody G.M.

Ok

Room was nice, but very small for the price. Floor was not swept well so there was sand all over it when we got there. They swept the next day but forgot to remove the pile of sand they swept up. You can hear through the walls. We had people wake us up at 1am next door partying and playing music next door. Also happened again the next night with even more people.

Thank you for your review I am sorry your stay was not amazing. I am also sorry the housekeeper forgot to remove the pile of sand she swept up in your room. I am sure it was just a mistake. I wish you would have complained to us about the noise issue we would have taken care of it.

the pro's and con's from our stay, pro's clean room, newly renovated bathroom, clean grounds, prefer smaller hotels not so many guest / crowded, Con's did not offer extra's like entertainment credit, food, although we were given a frosty beverage, blinds need replacing missing panels, office doesn't open till 9 am

Thank you for review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. We have replaced the blinds in your room. We do have limited office hours because we area smaller hotel, but there are no additional charges after you check in so you do not need to check out in the office.
