Pros: location.
Cons: since the hotel is a Resort, it needs to have beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach for their guests.
it was a great location, great hotel but as a resort hotel you would have to have beach chairs and umbrella for your guests.

Very good hotel, right on the beach

Pros: pool area lovely and many sunbeds available
Cons: accurate pricing in rooms as breakfast price was understated
Location: lots of good places to eat, we had never tried IHop before it was was great value compared to hotel breakfast and is easy walking distance, pier/board
Our rooms very good although being on floor 4, this is the first floor above the noisy music bar that stays open til 1am and ours was directly above this and next to the busy lifts so try to avoid those. Breakfast was expensive and generally what you might expect but with not very tasty coffee. Valet parking was chaotic and we were informed we could not even drop off bags outside the lobby as that area was only for valet parkers, not ideal, so felt forced to pay for valet parking and the price was more than Expedia informed us.

Reservation through Expedia wasn't honoured.

Pros: The pictures. Actually there, nothing.
Cons: Expedia should put real pictures and not Hilton pictures.
Location: Nothing special.
We reserved via Expedia a certain room type (Deluxe). Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort didn't honoured it. They said the room types in Expedia and the hotel don't match (although descriptions and pictures in Hilton and Expedia match). Front desk sent us to a basic room and told us to talk to Expedia, nothing to talk with Hilton. Note we paid a higher rate for a better room, but again, Hilton employee told us our reservation was for a basic room. They wouldn't give us any chance. A shame. Vacation time shouldn't have these disappointments.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location on the beach is the main reason we chose this hotel, we ended up sitting by the pool more than we did the Ocean. The hotel is surprisingly kid friendly.

Not what I would expect from Hilton

Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms need updating
Our room was old. Furniture was all mismatched and stained/damaged, bathroom was clean but old and tired. Bed skirt was stained all over, old mini fridge and microwave. For the price it was fine but when I stay at a Hilton I expect better. Location is great. I would stay again, I was just underwhelmed.

Nice location, great hotel

Staff is very courteous and polite. awesome amenities and very clean hotel. The only negative would be the parking which is across the street.

Everything is in walking distance. The boardwalk,pier,restaurant & souvenir shops.

The view is the best

Pros: view was terrific
Cons: Get a new valet staff. These are the first people you meet when you arrive. They should be nice and not seem like a gang of thugs.
Location: Everything is nearby.
The hotel is great, the valet service is terrible. Valet used my car to go to lunch. I could not leave until he came back. My car smelled like smoke and it did all the way home the next day. The valet boys were rude and obnoxious. Not all of them but a few. The one that took my car should have been fired on the spot, but nooooooooooo. Their little group will can do no wrong. ruined my whole trip.

Pleasant stay and friendly staff. Great restaurants. Just feet away from the beach. Great view of the beach from our room.
