Good for business people, secure, good staff.

Nice motel for a business person, good rates. OK for families provided you avoid the boardwalk area. At best the boardwalk was uncomfortable at worst unsecure. Sympathetic for homeless, not for those harassing, trying to shame tourists into parting with their money. Don't waste your money for seafood at gumps or joes. The Bay Street market is close by, low cost with great food, not fancy or pretentious.

Very nice hotel close to beach

Pros: We loved the location right on the beach. the room was nice and the staff was friendly.
Location: The hotel was easy to get to from the interstate and the boardwalk and the little amusement park is right next to it.
We really loved the view from our Ocean front room.The room was nice and clean. I know because my wife was a former manager over Housekeeping at an hotel and she knows clean. loved the sunset and sun rise view. everything was In walking distant did not have to use car. they had a friendly staff and we are looking forward to spending time there again.

Pros: We had a nice view of the beach and fireworks. Also a good view of the pier and the slingshot
Cons: It was nice other than the noisy A/C.
Location: Walking distance to Daytona Board walk, Daytona Lagoon and short driving distance to several eateries and the Mall.
We found all of the employees to be very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff supplied what we needed quickly when we had a request. Our only complaint would be that the A/C was noisy at night and the toilet made flushing sounds at random times. My daughters and I all had an enjoyable stay. It was a very nice birthday getaway.

Hilton brand takes a hit

Everything is ridiculously overpriced. North tower rooms are vintage 1950's-in serious need of updating. Better hotels at a better price in Daytona Beach.

Terrible view and pool

My room was exactly at the same level than the roof. It was probably the worst view ever. Accessing from the beach, the hotel doesn't have a way to rinse the sand. Pool could be better.
