I think the property should be torn down and start over. The furnace and air conditioner does not work well. I think the property been through to many hurricanes and inside it’s dark . It was to much money for the condition it was in will not go back.

The clump of bleached hair in the bathroom shows me that it was not properly cleaned, room won’t go above 62 degrees because the ac is broken so it’s either have my 4 year old freeze or sweat disgusting that I paid a third of my monthly housing expense for one night in in this hell hole where the pool door is my 10ft from our sleeping room so it slams when anyone goes in and out at until 11 pm. Do better and give me a refund.

Stopped in on our way to Miami. Slept like a baby. Quiet, mattress was like a cloud. Staff was welcoming and knowledgeable.

I came here again for the second time because the first time staying here was real nice and had zero issues & we all enjoyed ourselves. I decided to come back for the weekend with my family before school started back up. When I got there to check in the lady at the front desk ( I can’t remember her name) was very unprofessional. She was rolling her eyes with an attitude when trying to explain to me why I couldn’t use my card there for the deposit. She told me if I used that card I wouldn’t get my deposit back. I booked a room with pool view and got put in a room in the far corner and immediately went back down to try and change it and got denied. Later on that night when my husband got there he talked to another lady and had no problem getting us in a different room. The door by the stairs near the pool has metal on the bottom of it that scraped my daughter’s foot so that’s a huge safety issue. We also dropped something and came back to get it and it was gone within 2 minutes. It was just an awful time spending a whole lot of money. I didn’t expect to have to deal with such bad customer service after I drive a couple hours. The first night we were there someone was banging on the door at around 1:30am and woke up all my kids. I don’t open the door for anyone but was listening to who was talking and I overheard them say on a walky talky that it was the wrong room they were at. It was just not what I had in mind for a get away with my 4 young children.

We did not consider this location to be ideal location for a family getaway; however, we were fortunate to experience a staff member who was courteous.

Let’s be fair, this is a 3 star hotel with tired rooms and facilities. Nothing is fancy but it is clean and staffed with attentive staff who do not appear to hate their jobs.

The room smelled of mold and dirty carpet. Shower door was broken and all the water saturated the floor so towels was used to get up the water.

I was disappointed at first when the breakfast option was misleading but staff were very empathetic and the restaurant/bar area really makes the stay! They are friendly and truly seem to want guests to feel welcome! The room was ok- bed was not super comfortable, the cabinet door for fridge was broken and the toilet kept running. Wasn’t best holiday inn I have stayed in overall.

For it being in such a high demand and being a prime location. This hotel was very dated.

Very disappointed because I put in my search for a hot tub after a 2 day long drive and it was gross with sand in it and didn’t work. Luke warm water. I would have never booked the room if I would have known it didn’t work. When I mentioned it to pool staff they didn’t even acknowledge me. Would not return

This is about rm 227.. a guy told me his stay was fine. The outside was nice where the pool is. Breakfast was good but the service was lengthy. Under staffed but friendly. Now to 227..had a moldy smell covered by faint smell of bleach. The shower door did not shut. Plaster on the floor with dirty worn carpet. Beds were comfortable and clean. Would I stay here again? They would have to lower the price at least $50. I think the express down the road was nicer when we entered by mistake. I would go there. Not sure why the resort fee? It wasn’t a resort. Poor representation of holiday inn. Absolutely not typical of holiday inn experiences of past

There is a surprise “resort fee” of $22.00 per night. No free breakfast. The property is old and needs updating pretty badly. Parking is an issue. Rude staff cap it off. Stay at the other properties near by
