Great hotel. Location is great. Pool is nice. Room was dated but was always clean. Staff were friendly and willing to help. Rooms are currently being re done. We will return.

Great budget hotel right next to the beach and within a 2 minute walk to the Pier, to eat and drink at 'The Roof' with live music.

Didn't get the room we wanted and no one cared.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Don't know, had to leave and come back home, could not afford another hotel, because we didn't get our refund until a later date, which I understand.
I could be wrong, and I hope I am, but I believe our room was switch. Now I know I'm not being paranoid, it happens. We came down on a very limited budget to celebrate our 50th. anniversary, but our bubble was bursted. We will never stay at that hotel nor in that city....

No clock, microwave didn't work, dead bolt lock busted, missing curtain, mislabeled shower faucets, terrible drains in shower and sink. Balcony sucked, awkward door, short seats, no table. Tiki bar and lounge advertised is a joke, I would rather walk to the ocean bar next door from a further hotel. Pool wad not far enough away from hotel so wet towels dripped on patrons every morning. Not truely comfortable walking distance from anything good in Daytona. Whole place all around needs a makeover. One positive (ish)...you get your money's worth...

The hotel was outdated, water stood in the tub not worth the money, besides the location I'd pay about 50 bucks for it.

Location is everything!

Pros: Location to the Daytona Band Shell
Cons: update hotel
Location: Near Daytona Pier, Daytona Ocean Walk, Daytona Band Shell, Daytona Lagoon; lots of shopping and restaurants.
This hotel needs some serious TLC. The hallway (we were on the 4th floor) smelled of smoke, the elevator is super slow and pretty small and the outside needs painting. The breakfast was lacking in that your choices were waffles (which they cook for you), oatmeal, fresh fruit or yogurt. The OJ was really watered down and my hubby said even the coffee wasn't that good. On the plus side the pool was a decent size, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the bar is excellent. They even have a little tiki area you can hang out in (beware of the smokers though). The staff is amazing, all friendly and very helpful. BUT, if what you are looking for is the right price for the location, you are in for a treat. The pier is an extremely short walk and the Ocean Walk and band shell aren't too much further than that. Shopping and eateries galore! All things considered I would recommend this hotel for it's staff and location!

Hotel was not worth the price that I paid on Expedia which was $266 for 2 nights. Arrived at the hotel early hoping they could accommodate me and my two sons with an early check in. We were told they could not but would call. This was 12:45, an hour and 15 minutes later we went back to the hotel and again our room was not ready yet. I advised at that time 2pm that check in on the website is 3pm and the black lady at the front desk rudely said it was 4pm. I said that is not what the website says and she rudely repeated herself saying it was 4pm. The room was finally available at 3:15. Once in the room it was outdated, dirty and hit. We would have normally complained about this but being we waited for hours we decided to deal with it. The air ran on 60 degrees nonstop and never got below 72. The kitchenette was not mopped neither was the bathroomph. There were cracks in the ceiling and tub. The balcony was tiny. The only positive things I can advise was the location and the beds were comfortable. I am very disappointed with our stay this time and the customer service provided especially since I sat in the lobby and waited while other guests came in and we're given rooms immediately.
