Nice hotel, all of the amenities. Beautiful beach

Pros: It had almost everything we could want right there. Scott, the tiki bar was so accommodating and professional but a man that worked later was aweful!
Cons: The breakfast waitstaff. Mainly on the side in front of the inside restaurant. They took forever to deliver the food, were nowhere to be seen.
Location: We met some people who showed us the Landshark Restaurant, the Daytona club and the Hyatt Lounge.
We were very happy with MOST of the staff which made the poor staff seem that much worse.

Luxury hotel at an affordable price ON the beach

We live one minute away, on the Ocean. We always put up our guests at this hotel. Great facility, wonderful location. We held our granddaughters' wedding here. Luxury hotel that welcomes families .. and is quite affordable.

Nice and comfy hotel..

We only had a few bumps in the road during our stay, but all was fixed and we enjoyed our stay very much!

No beach, only ocean

Pretty hotel. There was no beach, waves were hitting the hotel grounds on what seems to be normal “high tide” so we couldn’t lay out at the beach. Resort fee for 20$ why? Couldn’t use chairs, We even had to wait for towels. Food at restaurant was not that great. Calamari drenched in oil, the flank was very small portion 32$ the salmon was good. Ocean front room had a beautiful view, room was clean except for a major spider web in the corner, my son’s socks were black from walking around. Beds were comfortable.

Beautiful hotel on the beach

The hotel was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. The only negative was the front desk staff. Each time I approached them to ask a question or to check in/out, I felt as if I was bothering them. The front desk is the first impression of a hotel and I am sure this is not the impression you want people to have. Thank goodness the valets out front were actually our first encounter with hotel staff. They were great as were all of the restaurant staff! Stiill, overall this was a great hotel and we would definitely stay again!

Discriminates against third-party bookings

Have stayed here for many years as have family in the area. It is our favorite in the area. I often do not book through them directly as I can often save money booking through Expedia and other third-party sellers. On this trip several times I was told, “Because you chose to book through Expedia.....” I didn’t appreciate the condescending attitude whatsoever. The culture of the whole Hotel seems to have taken that position. I suggest the Hotel embrace all their guests or not take our money. The class system is so old Russia. I suggest Expedia also speak to them about this or not promote them.

First off the place looks nice but....our room was dirty. Bed very uncomfortable and broken. They did come and GLUE it back. Last but not least all of the HIDDEN FEES.....resort fee that you pay everyday and a parking fee you pay everyday and a fee for valet that we DID NOT USE. I will never stay here again. Also our tub would not drain.

Beautiful hotel on the beach

I recently stayed at this hotel for a night while visiting a friend. The room was huge and very clean. The main lobby was beautiful and th staff was exceptionally friendly. The location was perfect, right on the shore. The view from our room was amazing. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. In fact the next time we go, I will try and book there bc it was great. The kids loved it and so did my husband and I. The breakfast buffet was tremendous and my oldest, 12 years old, said the omelet station waa "on point". 😂 the Shores was a phenomenal find and highly recommended.

Great getaway!

I booked this trip at the last minute, when I was supposed to be heading to the airport to travel north for the weekend. We decided to forego that trip and book somewhere close by with a spa. We were thrilled with our stay at the Shores! The staff are very professional and take pride in their work. The spa was incredible; we never wanted to leave. The property sits right on the ocean, and the resort deck offers fire pits, a pool, hot tub, many chairs and tables, a bar, and the restaurant. They even gave us a complementary smores kit. They seem a bit pricey, but if you've ever stayed in a resort, you know they are more than reasonable for what you get during your stay. I can't wait to return and only wish I stayed longer than one night.
