Not good

Posted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: Staff and location
Cons: Add free breakfasts and A/C.
Location: Near the mountains.
Great staff but for the amount we paid, it's not worth it. No breakfast and no A/C in something this expensive!? Never again.

Pros: Close to National Parks.
Cons: Drinking water and ice!
A decent place, but tap water was not potable. We should have been told this before booking. Price was a bit high for this quality of hotel.

This hotel is a sad place to be.

Pros: Bed was good and we did sleep well in it.
This hotel is such bad need of updates. It would have been nice if the bathroom door would have closed. It is warped and does not close or lock. The little balcony was nice but again the door did not lock. It had no air conditioning and was hot and not able to cool down. We kept the window open all night but really did not feel like this was a safe thing to do considering we did not know the area well. The hallways were dingy to. I had a really difficult time understanding the man who checked us in. His English was very poor. I admire the man for his efforts but someone who can communicate to take care of the basic check in questions. A young fella came into the office and was better at English after a bit of a struggle to catch on to the process. I did not even try the WIFI.

This motel is overrated. Did not enjoy our stay. Drinking water was not drinkable which made us nervous to even brush our teeth. The motel is poorly layed out. Would not stay here again.

We paid $200 for this hotel but it is more like a cheap motel worth no more than $60. There are signs warning you that the water from the tap is unsafe to drink.

The motel was clean. However the water is not safe for drinking and there is no air conditioning (a/c). It has a nice view of the mountain. Very accessible to amenities such as restaurant and gas station. The sheets were a bit rough, probably from the water used to wash it. But overall its just a average motel which is good for a one night stay. Don't expect too much out of it.

Not impressed.

Pros: Got a ground floor room.
Cons: Plugs were placed behind bed and put in as an after thought. Bigger bed or two singles would be better.
Location: nothing to do near by, but close to highway.
For the size of the room and the price I expected to at least have a queen bed or 2 beds. Bed was very low to ground? I was travelling with a senior and they had problems getting out of the bed. Noisy as right beside stairs.

Back to the 60's

Pros: Location to Canmore
Cons: Needs a lot of upgrading. No AC, bathroom shower is more of a stall than a shower. beds need upgrading at least the mattresses. ETC.
Location: Nearness to Canmore and Banff
Big signs warning us not to drink the water was not a good first impression. Cut our stay to one night instead of two.

Sucks..

The hotel facilities are good, organized & clean. But the staff (old man) whom we talk to is disgusting. I am just asking for an extra mattress to use on the floor since I have a 9mos baby who keeps on crawling & rolling. Scared he might fall on the bed. He answered in a badly manner saying they dont have any & we shouldnt book there again if we're looking for one. How can people be so rude? He can just simply say "no available for now!" Huh, When in fact I am willing to pay for it. Not gonna stay there again.. never.. ever!
