Excellent location.

Pros: Location
Cons: More luggage carts. I was with my elderly parents and I waited for almost 30 minutes to use a luggage cart and still couldn't get one.
Clean, comfortable hotel. Staff was very nice. Great location! Will definitely stay again.

We check in late so we just went to bed right away ...if we check in early would have walk around town....next time , the hotel is great!

Perfect Hotel in the Heart of Downtown!

This hotel was incredible! The staff was friendly and accommodating, the location was perfect, the rooms were huge and clean, and the bed was comfortable! In addition to that, the continental breakfast had a wonderful variety of delicious food, and it was very well stocked throughout the morning. We've stayed at several other hotels in Deadwood, and this was by far one of our favorites! We'll be back! :)

Great Night in Deadwood

Very friendly desk staff. Excellent downtown Deadwood location, free access to city parking garage. Great WiFi. Older building but nice, updated rooms. Free breakfast was excellent in variety and quality. Would definitely stay again!

Awful hotel

I waited well over 20 minutes in an empty lobby to be checked in. Finally a guy comes running behind the counter and his shirt wasn't even on all the way. Told me he was charging me a 10$ acomadation fee and I voiced that it hasn't been very accommodating so far. He said "sorry, I had to take a ****" is said that there is no reason to talk to a customer like that. He said "whatever you're just a stoner loser anyways." I pride myself in not doing any drugs so I have no clue why he would even say that. Needless to say, finally got ahold of someone on the holiday inn customer service line and they told me to talk to the manager in the morning. So if I don't get a full refund because of the way I was treated, I will never return to any holiday inn, my friends or family won't and I work at a very tourist filled place and when they ask where they should stay I definitely won't say the holiday inn. I have never been treated so badly.

I'm sorry you were treated in this way. As I told you on the phone this is not a normal process for our hotel. I'm sorry you had to wait and then be subject to this language. We have talked to the employee and I can assure you this will not happen again. As I also stated, I will make sure you are well taken care of if you do choose to return to our hotel. Thank you for also calling me to let me know about the situation right away the next day so we could take care the of issue.
