“Great host, very kind, communicative, helpful and available. Location was super convenient and room was spacious and accommodated 4 of us (two adults, two children with bed and two pullouts). Parking was easy. There is a coin laundry in the basement but bring lots of quarters. $2.50 for the washer, $2.00 for the dryer at the time of this writing. They worked well. “The place was pretty clean, however the Keurig did not look clean at all so I could not use it and also there was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom. My check in was delayed by a couple hours because I couldn't get a hold of the host and when I did, they mentioned that they prefer to call instead of text which is fine but I wish I knew beforehand. There was also no information regarding parking so I parked on the street the first day but there are spots behind the place. The main issue……

“I’m sure the inside of the property was nice. But, when we arrived at the building, we decided not to get out of our car. The area did not look safe. The building looked rundown with broken windows, and AC units hanging out of them, the road itself was full of potholes and trash. The “gated parking lot” looked like a dump. “We had no heat all day Sunday when it was single digits outside. I asked where the thermostat was at noon and got excuses all day. At 4:00 I sent a message saying that we'd give them one hour and then we'd have to leave as it was freezing cold. Finally, at 6 p.m. someone showed up to turn on the heat in the downstairs apartment where it had been turned off by the tenants who had moved out suddenly. The property manager tried to blame me for not getting back with him to tell him we hadn't closed……

“Nice off the street parking, security is good (two sets of codes), walkable area with plenty of restaurant options. Apartment was spacious, has a nice couch!”

“We stayed here for a few nights while visiting as tourists. Having a combo washing machine/dryer was really nice! The apartment was clean and included snacks! Host was very communicative. We personally didn't have any issues with anyone breaking into our car while parked in the lot. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash looked like it had been mounted to the shower wall at some point and broke off - was a little awkward to store our toiletries on the shower floor. ”
