2nd Stay - disapointed

This was our 2nd stay. The 1st time (last year) we were very pleased. However this year was a different story. This time we were on the 2nd floor (no elevator) and the queen sofa sleeper needed cleaning. No linens in the room for the sofa sleeper and when retrieved from the desk, they were less than desirable. The blanket was a small hard piece of felt. Our next trip, we will look for another hotel.

Great Price

Had all the aminities, but I did see a roach in the bathroom within the first 15 minutes of our stay. I didn't see anymore after. Fortunately!

Cons: Clean the shower curtains more often.
We stayed 2 in three days. They take pets and do not make one stay in a room that smells like a dog has gone to the bathroom in it.

Nice staff. Heled mt husband locate a church.. That is all I have to say about it.

Hotel is old and in need of remodel.

Pros: Room was spacious.
Cons: I would prefer the phone to be located on the nightstand adjacent to the bed instead of on the desk across the room.
Location: Decatur is a great town with plenty of restaurant options close to the hotel.
Curtains would not fully close to shield the exceptionally bright parking lot lights.

NO elevator, meh hotel.

Be aware that this hotel DOES NOT HAVE AN ELEVATOR! If this was posted in the details, I missed it for sure. Coming in after midnight, evacuating from Hurricane Irma with our family and two dogs AND having to carry everything upstairs..........ugh! Breakfast is a stretch..........,main items cereal and the waffle machine and microwaved sausage - the pull out bed is a SINGLE - do not think two kids are sleeping on that. When we checked in, we were asked if we were going to be using that, after we replied yes, we were asked to hold on because the front desk needed to find us sheets (no comforter/blanket) and pillow to use. My son asked if what they gave us was a curtain? We were completely exhausted when we got there so I was happy to have arrived but I was happy to leave as well.

Average with Mold Odor

It was just average. Nothing special. Our room smelled like mold, which is my biggest complaint. The employees were friendly, and that's my biggest compliment.

mildewy room!!!!

the hotel is right next to an animal hospital with barking howling dogs. while i realize that nothing can be done about that, something can and should be done about condensation leaks from air conditioners leading to rooms that smell like mildew. it would be very helpful to have some kind of air freshener available to get rid of the smell. or even better yet, stop the leak or dry out the carpet so it doesnt get the mildew smell in the first place!!! we had to go out and get our own air freshener spray to combat the stink in the room.
