Not sure what other rooms were like but ours was in serious need for renovations. We could not even sit on the couch as it was completely broken down and was stained from years and years of occupants. Room itself was clean but looked rough. Breakfast was not good even though it was free.

Dirty pool,horrible fee breakfast , room had a bug, furniture had strange odor , but staff was polite but inattentive Bathroom sink no hot water complained they didn’t fix it

Just okay.

Pros: The price for a holiday night was really good and the female front desk clerk was really nice.
Cons: Room furniture needs updating badly. The furniture was scratched, couch sagged, the desk was scratched, chair to desk sagged very badly in Room 125.
Location: The location was really good for us because we are moving a mile away. Not a lot to do nearby, except the beach is about 2 miles up the road.
We stayed at this hotel twice in 2001 & in 2002. It was brand new, clean in a great location with a nice group of vacationers that stayed here for a cheap, reasonable price. It was like a 5 star hotel & we were very happy with both stays here in 2001 & 2002. Thereafter we bought a timeshare so we always stayed in a Wyndham or RCI timeshare resort that was a 5 star or higher ratting resort. Now, we were in the process of moving to Deerfield Beach, FL. Started from NY, stayed a night in a Hilton Hampton Inn in Alexandria, VA & the hotel was really nice. Next night was on Amtrak Auto Train in a coach car, that was okay. For the next 4 nights we stayed at The Wyndham Star Island Resort in Kissimmiee, FL which was excellent. We stayed another night at a hotel in Winter Gardens, FL (not a Wyndham or RCI resort instead it was a Diamond Resort Timeshare) that was about a 4 star. It was big, clean & good. Then we stayed for 2 nights at The Best Western Plus on Federal Highway in Boca Raton, FL. That was very good, clean & pretty. Last night, 12/25/17 we stayed at this hotel, Quality Inn & Suites on Newport Center Drive, Deerfield Beach, FL. It was just okay. This hotel is 16 years old now & hasn't not any upgrades done to it. Front desk clerk was very nice, room was clean but the furniture was not in good condition; the bed was ok, BUT othe furniture had rips in it, couch sagged, chair by desk sunk in when I sat on it. It really needs updates badly.

Older hotel, not sure if price fits the facilities compared to similar ones in the area.

Almost worst in my traveling experience.

Pros: The beds were comfortable.
Cons: Room equipment and breakfast.
Location: OK location.
Leaking ac/heater left puddles in the room. Old flooring had sections missing. Shower hose came apart. Breakfast was not good and staff, except for maintenance man who mopped up puddles, seemed not particularly warm.
