Obviously, I liked the price but as soon as I found the place I got what I paid for. Cheap doesn't mean better. I did like the convenience of the location but not the location. The soap bar was bigger, nice and soapy like what one found in older motels. I also liked the young lady who took my registration. She seemed pleasant. What I didn't like was the cheapness of the place. The towels were cheap but slightly better than Motel 6. The breakfast was a joke. Parking was against a busy street, open and susceptible to thieves. I parked really close to the door and hoped my truck didn't get broken into. I saw no security cameras. No elevators to the second floor. I wouldn't stay there again.

This place is par for the course in Del Rio. There are no hotels...only motels. I'm a hotel snob so this was hard to take. Also, there are no discounted rooms because the DPS stays in all the motels to help assist with the border.

I got there and the outside looked a bit run down but never judge a book by its cover judge it by its content and it was a really nice experience.
