Good choice in Del Rio

Posted Nov 30, 2016
LaQuinta is a good choice in Del Rio. Rooms are nice size, clean, and bed was comfortable. Also right next to a steak restaurant and The Skillet for breakfast.

Great for the price

Posted Nov 12, 2016
We stayed in the Del Rio area to attend a wedding. We stayed a 4 days. We picked this hotel mainly due to the price and we knew we wouldn't be there much other than to sleep. This hotel definitely met our needs. While this is definitely an older hotel, the room was quiet and clean, but if your looking for a modern look then this is not for you. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful and the pool was also very clean. I would probably stay here again!

We were moved a new room because the AC was not working well. The other room was just as nice with a good AC but the curtain didn't fit very well so it got bright in there very early.

Disappointing All Around

Posted Jun 24, 2016
Pros: The breakfast and the pool were the only redeeming factor of the La Quinta Inn.
Cons: Everything
Location: In Del Rio there is not a lot to do unless you have relatives to visit. If you like the outdoors then there is quite a lot to do.
I wanted to change motels after my first night because my room totally sucked and the front desk did not want to help me at all. I went down the road to look at cheaper motel. It was dated but it still had more to offer than La Quinta Inn did.The breakfast and the pool were the only redeeming factor of the La Quinta Inn.

Had a great stay! Staff was amazing.

We forgot our backpack and only realized when we were in San Antonio. Hotel staff shipped all our stuff to us asap. I really loved the Texas State shaped waffles. Had a great stay.

Under construction

Posted Apr 10, 2016
Pros: Staff were courteous.
Cons: Elevator access if no rooms available downstairs.
We hoped to stay on first floor due to the fact my husband has difficulty walking up stairs. We were told there were no rooms downstairs do to remodel and no elevator access. It was very difficult to get into the room. Room was ok just very difficult to get in.

A DUMP

Pros: NOTHING
Cons: EVERYTHING.
Location: No comment.
Had to wait for ages to check in. My room was not available. They forced me to take a smoking room. Breakfast was terrible.

Staff not organized

Posted Dec 26, 2015
Pros: Hotel was clean.
Cons: Better trained staff
Location: N/A
Rooms not ready upon check-in. One room readied shortly after, second room not readied for over 3 hours. No communication from front desk until I went to ask. Had to do this twice. Roll-away was not in room as requested, was told it MAY NOT be available! Dealt with one clerk, who seemed to be getting off soon. Second clerk was replacement from another hotel and was not familiar with hotel, seemed to be struggling. She admitted that there was no one present at hotel to instruct her. Morning clerk did not have breakfast ready at posted time, so we decided to check out and eat elsewhere. He made me wait while he set up breakfast.
