GREAT BANG FOR THE BUCK!

Pros: The staff is great and the rooms are very well equipped.
Cons: The only thing I would criticize is the absence of a self service ice machine. However, hotel staff will fill your ice bucket if you ask.
Location: Hotel is in the middle of Del Rio so stores and restaurants are near by.
The rooms are well equipped, clean, and are a good deal for the money. The hotel looks like a bit if a dive from the street, but the rooms are actually quite nice. Hotel staff are very friendly and interested in your comfort. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. GREAT BANG FOR THE BUCK.

Pros: clean and the price
Parking lot is a small court yard which is good for security but bad when construction or contractors vehicles clog it up. Room was very good and very clean, just needed an extra lamp at the desk.

WE are aware that parking is a problem, however we are always at hand to guide you in and out. Lamps are supposed to be in every room. Some have gone missing.

A great hotel

Location: A bit out of town. Not a lot of restaurants around.
Very comfortable room. Friendly staff especially the owner. Ask him about the beautiful artwork in the lobby and breakfast room. Bed was very comfortable. Good internet. Breakfast was pretty standard. Clean rooms. Good shower.

No coffee maker and had to mess with toilet

Location: Location is hard to get into traffic
No coffee maker ,had to mess with toilet cuz the water kept running and the pump kept getting stuck.Hard to get in and out of parking spaces and from motel into traffic.

It's nice. But no ice machine

It's nice, but no ice machine, and the say they have a bar, but no one was working it even though it said open.

Freezer full of ice. The ice machine makes ice that is very watery, we bag it and have plenty in the freezer. The bar is leased out and its beyond our control.

Manager is extremely courteous and respectful. Convenient to sites in Del Rio. Will continue to stay in this hotel when I visit Del Rio.

The owners are the best part of this place

Check in was great, and then downhill from there. I was prepared for a two-star motel (and from other reviews, no coffee maker) , but unprepared for: Not even a bar of soap Five flies Three mosquitoes One dead beetle One live beetle A spider on the bed Dirty shower (mildew in corners) An AC unit that whirred, knocked, whined (more than me), and groaned whether or not it was in the cooling cycle Worst night of sleep in recent memory.

Worms in frig!

The only update is the lounge at the front desk. The room is not updated. We found a worm in our frig the first day we arrived. Why did the cleaning lady not get rid of it. We called the front desk because we didn't know if it was a large worm or baby snake. They came and removed it. The next day we came back to our room for the evening and opened the frig. Guess what was there? Another worm! How gross. They were living in the frig. We were leaving the next day so was glad to get out of there. They kept telling us it was the fisherman that left the worms in the frig. We were the only people in that room for 2 days.

Nice Hotel with friendly staff

Pros: The personal touch and the fact that it is not a normal chain Hotel.
Location: We have had dinner at cattlecreek steakhouse and enjoyed it a lot.
Nice non chain Hotel with very personal touch. Owner cleaned the pool area and activated the waterfall just for us, even it was late afternoon already, so we can enjoy the pool before going to dinner.

Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the shower was really nice.
Cons: I would like to see a coffee pots and coffee in the room. Also, a comfortable chair to watch tv in. Other than that, it was very nice!
Our stay was very nice overall. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was really nice and roomy. It had everything we might need with the exception of a coffee pot and a comfy chair to watch tv in.
