Booked through Expedia but upon arrival the hotel reception stated they did not have any record of the reservation. Fortunately they had vacancy and I paid for a night; so I essentially paid twice. The individual at reception had no empathy for the situation, and simply told me that they had no record of the reservation made earlier in the day there was no effort to look into what had happened, or to even verify any information with me. This is what frustrated me most - the lack of caring or concern - there was none, although I was told they were experiencing computer problems so that might have been the problem? In any event Expedia handled it promptly and I am in process of receiving refund for the excess payment but reception at the hotel after a long drive and late at night was not acceptable. Other than that the property was clean and comfortable.
