Vivanta by Taj at NCR a Hotel We Love

Posted Jul 11, 2017
Pros: A very striking ambience of great open halls, excellently manicured roof gardens, and overall warmth of a great living
Cons: All five star hotels with a huge traffic, tend to lose some of its sharpness, with fraying towels and other amenities.
Location: It is strategically located in the NCR, with quick access to the Nation's Capital. There is nothing much to do nearby.
When you enter this hotel at the entrance the Security personnel, the Concierge, the Reception greet you with great smiles and a feeling of warmth. The lofty ceilings, the shining marble floors, an overall ambience that invites one to a very beautiful and healthy environment that is indeed very charming. Then the JIVA Center, the GYM, with its Yoga Center, The Fitness Room, the Sauna, Steam Bath, the Showers , and above all avery beautiful Swimming Pool that blows one's mind in its invigorating waters in an open air environment. The Vivanta at Taj, once Claridges at NCR, has captured our attention from the day it was opened, and we enjoy coming back to this hotel whenever there is an opportunity to be in Delhi.

A Must Visit in Delhi/NCR

Posted Apr 25, 2017
Pros: The ambience of the hotel, spacious and wonderfully decorated rooms, infinity pool and seating arrangements around it, staff and service.
Cons: Very less eating options around the property. Eating options inside the hotel are good but a bit heavy on pocket ( which is expected anyway).
Location: Location is probably one of the downsides of this hotel. Nothing too exciting worth exploring around.
This beauty is definitely worth a stay. The property is great and the staff is very courteous and always on their toes. They'll make sure that you enjoy your stay right from the word go. Went here to celebrate our anniversary over the weekend. Couples would love it here. Don't miss out on their in-room rose petal tub bath or their couple spa option. Worth a try!

Massive hotel. A quiet stay. Helpful staff. Not sure what is in the area though?

Perfect relaxation

Posted Mar 10, 2017
It is a wonderful place for relaxation over the weekend! Absolutely awesome pool experience. The hammocks and the gazebos give a beautiful look and comfort to the pool. Dress up for a perfect dinner at the restaurant with the central garden lit up with live fire torches. ! Perfect place to celebrate a special day and relax . Wake up to a wide spread of delicious breakfast and complete your memorable experience.

Nice hotel for the price

Posted Feb 24, 2017 on Hotels
The hotel itself is a little out of the way if you want to get into delhi but for the price that we paid (£160 for two nights) it was well worth it and if you arrange so that you drive back to the hotel late at night you don't get stuck traffic. The room was nice it had a huge bathtub that the kids had fun in and we had a balcony which was nice. the kids enjoyed pottery (which was complimentary) with the highly qualified potter who had so much patience teaching all of us how to make basic flower pots. the kids also did archery and rifle shooting which I think was not value for money as they only got 10 shots between them and it felt like the kids club manager was being forced to carry out the activity and couldn't wait until it was over. the spa was nice but the swimming pool which was not really being used because of the season was not really very clean. nevertheless the kids were treated to fruit snacks at the pool side and towels etc were readily available. the breakfast buffet was okay but the waiting staff were not always attentive. overall a good experience but the friendliness of the staff was a bit hit and miss
