peristent problems with room door key

The room was fine and the breakfast buffet was good. The problem I had involved a malfunctioning door lock. When I first tried my key, the light was red and would never turn green. I went up to the front desk and the lady there assured me she would correct it. When I returned to my room to try the key again, it still would not work. Fortunately, my traveling companion had a room nearby, so I was able to call the front desk rather than have to walk up there again. This time the lady told me she would call maintenance right away. The maintenance guy showed up promptly and appeared to correct the problem, but when I tried my key, it still would not work. He said he would get a replacement key. That seemed to work when I tried my key, but after going out to dinner with friends, the new key would still not open my door two hours later. When the maintenance man returned this time, he asked if he could swap out the entire door locking mechanism. That seemed to finally do the trick. However, my stay was inconvenienced and my free time compromised by the continual problem getting the door lock to finally function as needed.

Tom i am so very sorry for the door lock challenges and how it was handled. I have shared your review with my Maintenance Manager and Front desk Manager to make sure we address this and correct it.
