Economical west side

Easy to get to and close access to west Denver and Golden. Property is a little "tired" but comfortable and clean.

Convenient, but looking a bit rundown

Pros: Location, free breakfast.
Cons: Replace the carpet. If possible, get the mildew smell out of the drapes, rugs, walls, etc.
Location: Easy access to Highway 6 and I-70, meaning easy access to downtown Denver, the front range and the high country. Lots of restaurants nearby.
This is the third time in three years we've stayed at this hotel. We like the hotel's location and free breakfast. The bed was comfortable. But the room itself seemed dirty. The carpet was old--and it was so dirty that it left the soles of our socks black. The room smelled like mildew and stale cigarettes. I'm glad I brought my prescription allergy medicine! The staff was cordial and the breakfast was good. But the room's smell and filthy carpet were disappointing.

Beds & pillows need to be more comfortable, they are very stiff.

Served its purpose

Pros: Location
Cons: Better staffing at peak times
Location: Lots of dining nearby, right off the interstate.
The location needs to update computer system or have two people working when they know they are going to have several check-ins. There were groups with kids and then our group. There was one person in front of us to check in and by the time we had gotten checked in the process had taken 30 minutes and made us late for the function we were there to attend. Check in isn't until 3pm and we arrived at 3:20 so it isn't like we could have gotten there much earlier. The room was nice. The pull out sofa had no sheets and was dirty. The extra pillows were disgusting and there were no pillow cases. It wasn't until we were ready to go to bed that we noticed there were no extras so we called downstairs and was told we had to go down and get them because she was the only one at the desk. Having worked front desk at a hotel I know this isn't a standard policy. So we went down in our pajamas to get the sheets. Still no pillow cases. I was disappointed to find broken fixtures in the bathroom and what looked like mold spots on the ceiling. This was one of the better rated facilities in the area and I had expected better. I'd stay there again if I had to. But I was a bit embarrassed to have been the one to choose this hotel for my group.

I apologize for the lack of bedding for the pull out couches in the room and will work with the owner to get more linen to put in rooms. Gross

The location is good and so is the price but I'd pay more to stay somewhere else. The rooms linens were gross!

Snowed in at Colorado

We initially planned on staying one night but a blizzard hit and we weren't able to leave for several days. The entire staff was so nice and very gracious to try to help us in any way they could. From letting us use the hotel snow shovel and ice melt to just listening to us whine! Would definitely stay again!

Volleyball tournament

We came down for a volleyball tournament and this location was literally 3 minutes away from our venue. Very easy to find, two restaurants close by. Room was very clean and people were very friendly. When we have to play in Lakewood again we'll be staying here
