Very disappointed

Posted Jan 27, 2016
Pros: It was clean. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast could use a little work, but was edible. The waffles were great/
Cons: more towels, better staff, stock the pool towels.
Location: location is right off the freeway, which is good and bad. Nice central location to get around Denver.
The front desk clerk was not very helpful. At check-in we asked for extra sheets and blankets for the pull out bed. She said the blankets were in the room and she had the sheets. I assumed she would bring the sheets up since she didn't give them to me at check-in. This was at 930 at night with my two very tired children. We waited 20 minutes and called down for the sheets and she said we had to come get them! There were also no blankets in the room, and then she proceeded to argue with me about it. The following day we asked for some towels to be brought into the pool area as there weren't any and the clerk (same lady) said she would bring some in....well, she didn't. I had to go out into the lobby, soaking wet in my bathing suit to get more towels for myself and my family. There were a bunch of teenagers staying at the hotel for the stock show; they were being loud and running up and down the hallways in the middle of the night and the hotel staff didn't do anything about it. It was ridiculous that we had to go out and talk to a bunch of rowdy teenagers so that our children could sleep. The bed was not comfortable, it was springy and hard. The room only had 2 towels, and 2 wash cloths. Our room was also facing the on-ramp to the freeway, which was really loud at night. The hotel would probably be fine for a one night stay passing through town, but I would not bring my family there to stay. I wish I would have paid more to stay somewhere more comfortable.

Nice Hotel

Posted Jan 19, 2016
Pros: Staff was great and bed was comfy.
Cons: The towels and rags needed to be new. They had holes and were not "bleach" white. Several stains make it not seem clean.
Location: Near shopping mall, theater, Coors Brewery and easy access to Black Hawk, Central City and downtown Denver.
Everything was good except the towels and rags needed to be new. They had holes and were not "bleach" white. Several stains make it not seem clean. Staff was great, bed was comfy and it worked for our needs.

Nice breakfast, very friendly staff

Posted Dec 7, 2015
Happy with the price. Staff were extremely friendly, they didn't close breakfast area until we were all done with breakfast (like 20 min after closing time), they had eggs, buscuits and gravy, sausage, waffles, cereal, fruit, doughnuts, yogurt...etc, which i considered to be a very good breakfast compared to some hotels. Rooms were spacious and had a bed sofa, fridge, iron, and microwave at no extra cost. The pool was small but it had a good jacuzzi.

No hot water or cable and poor breakfast

Posted Nov 18, 2015
There was no hot water or cable and the staff was less than helpful. The room was ok but the jacuzzi tub was dirty. Very little effort put into the breakfast.

I apologize for the bad experience on your last stay. Maintenance issues with water and cable were resolved. Staff normally is more accommodating and will have some coaching to prevent this in the future. I would like you to give our hotel another chance to see the improvements. Kind Regards, Scott Leischner GM
