Pros: Friendly Staff
Cons: A little updating and less noisy heat. Heater did provide good heat.
When we left, I asked my wife if she would stay there again. Reply - Not in winter if heating fan is that noisy in late fall. Temp was is low 40's.

Pictures looked ok so we booked it. When we arrived it looked very seedy. Room was passably clean but smelled musty. Blankets had holes and there was a bed bug crawling when I lifted up the mattress to check. Needless to say, we left before we unpacked a thing! On a positive note, the lady at the front desk couldn't have been nicer or more apologetic and we were refunded immediately.

Customer service is great but hotel is a little outdated!Posted Oct 11, 2011
Booked a whirlpool room for one night. Decided to start our trip a day early so I called the hotel to see if any rooms were available for that night. They offered a suite for both nights for the price of the whirlpool room. About 1/2 price for the suite. I asked for a regular room and a whirlpool room we originally booked for the second night. They only have one whirlpool room and it had been double booked that is why they offered my the suite. I was not happy that Expedia had sold me a room the was not available. Knowing it was too late to look for another hotel I took the suite for two nights. The suite was two huge rooms. One room with a dining table, wet bar, mini kitchen, tv, chair and sofa bed. The bed room had a king bed, desk and tv. The two room bathroom had a sink and counter in one room and a sink, toilet, shower stall, tv and a seperate large tub. The kitchen appliances were all old, did not use the stove, oven or dishwasher but the microwave and fridge both worked. Decided to stay a third night and asked for the whirlpool room. It smelled like a dirty ash tray and the whirlpool was a large one person jetted tub not a two person tub as advertised. I called the front desk and they offered to put us back in the suite again so we moved back to the suite.

simple and convenientPosted Sep 27, 2011
Dated linens and decor along with thin walls, but safe neighborhood, convenient with decent bed and bath. Nothing special but, for the rate, didn't expect special. Staff genuinely pleasant and helpful. Right near highway and yet noise not a factor. Good breakfast spread included with french toast, bagels, cereals and beverages. Would return again.

We asked for a non-smoking room, which is was, but obviously it was a smoking room until recently and it still reeked of smoke.

Ok for a quick fixPosted Jul 28, 2010
Overall I would have to say that I would only stay here again if I had no where else to stay. The people at the hotel were great, but the room itself was in desperate need of new furnishings. There were stains on the chairs, the room smelled of strong cigarette odor, and the pillows were lousy. We were both afraid to walk on the carpet without any socks, which in 90 degree weather that was tough. We also did not like the fact that another guest was letting their dog walk inside of the pool area. While we did not use the pool, that seemed a little bit unsanitary. The bath room was nice however, and it looked as though they had just been redone..to bad the rest of the room wasn't as well.

Comfortable, quiet, and clean older motel.Posted Jul 14, 2010
The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The one thing not included that I feel should have been in a up graded room like I had, was a microwave. I was in a room in the 2nd level, never heard a sound from anyone else during our three night stay. Another con was, the continental breakfast was lacking. The lease amount of food items I have seen offered for breakfast at a motel. Coffee, one other drink, juice(?), and either one or two pastries. A small muffin and/or a small bagel. That was it. Also, the furnishings are a bit dated. But the pros out weighted the cons, overall. However, the next trip I make there I'll pay for the next tier upgrade to get in the newer buildings, I paid the 2nd level upgrade room, or I might try one of the other motels in the area now that I know the territory. We met many locals wail there, they all were very friendly.
