Pros: location
Cons: Get new carpets or flooring...paint.
Location: Not much to do without a vehicle.
I would actually give the hotel a 3.2 rating. It is not a 4.1 in my mind. The décor is dingy....old. BUT....it had a clean bed and the temperature in the room was good. The location is good. There is a grouping of hotels in that vicinity. This is probably the one that is least affected by highway noise. The shuttle service was friendly but, I was lucky to find out....at the last minute that you have to phone the shuttle and make a reservation for them to stop and take you to the airport. They do NOT automatically come every hour on the hour as I was told they did. It is every two hours...and only IF you reserve ahead. IF I return, I will check out the other hotels in the area for their price point comparison before automatically booking into the Comfort Suites.

We are always working on updating the property to meet our clienteles standards and desires and have done various phases of remodel since 2013. You will be glad to know that we have another few remodel projects slated to be done this fall in accordance to Choice Hotels "Move to Modern" initiative. As far as the shuttle is concerned, we do not own, operate or have any control over its operation. It is a company independent of ours that is based out of Colorado Springs. The information they give us has a regularly scheduled stop every OTHER hour on the half hour at the hotel next door to us. That is the information that we provide to our guests. Loved the view of the mountains.

Pros: Close to restaurants and expressway.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't very good.
Location: A lot of choices to eat.
Good place to stop with the grandkids. Nice pool.

One night stay.

Cons: Cleaning of room.
Location: Castle Rock, CO. Just an overnight to visit friends and then head up to Ft. Collins.
Staff very friendly and helpful. No bottled water - they ran out...still no bottles in the morning. Room was marginally clean, nothing horrible, just not a thorough job. Breakfast included was very good and with a nice variety of options.

The staff were extremely helpful. Everything was great! Stayed with our puppy and the room was perfectly spacious for us to crate her during the night. Our most important sought out feature was that we felt safe. Castle Rock is a beautiful city in the Denver area. We felt comfortable the entire time! Would stay here again if ever passing through.

Our stay was amazing! The staff went beyond our expectations to serve us! I highly recommend this hotel to ANYONE, family, business, romance.... anything!

My only complaint is that there were no lights, we were told that the were automatic and that it was messed up. The kids were upset since our only option was to swim in dark or not at all. The pool was one of the reasons we picked this hotel so that was disappointing.
