Rowdy neighbors--poor support from front deskPosted Dec 7, 2015
Pros: not much
Cons: see above
I am a Hilton Honors member and have never had such a horrible experience as I did with this staff. After being awakened by our rowdy neighbors at 2:30 am by cursing, music, and very loud voices, we called the front desk. we were told that there had been a big party in the hotel and people got a little drunk--"holiday spirit" and all that. As if this was an excuse for us to be awakened. After 30 minutes, no one had come or called the room to get them to quiet down (believe me, we could hear if this had happened). I called again and got the same lame excuse from the night desk guy, who also admitted he may have sent security to the wrong room (poor them!). After a third call another 30 minutes later, security finally showed up and moved the rowdies (not quietly). So, nearly two hours later the desk called us (nearly asleep now) to ask if we were going to eat in the hotel in the morning. My husband told him that we had planned on room service (this was supposed to be a romantic getaway), and the desk let us know that he wouldn't cover that, but would give us some buffet coupons--but we would "have to come downstairs." Horrible. I would never go back to this place. shame on you Hilton--we were on the "Hilton Honors Floor." I think the basement would have been better.

Pros: Close to Light Rail public transit and quick access to downtown Denver, easy access to I-25 and several restaurants in the area.
Location: Close to nearby Zoo, sports authority field, Coors field and other downtown attractions.
Had a great time at the Denver Broncos game and our stay at the Double Tree in the Denver Tech area. Will be visiting again at the end of this month. Nice hotel, clean, good parking and great staff.
