Nice hotel in Denver

Even this hotel is underconstruction, I had a great experience. The hotel staff was very polite, friendly, and professional. The breakfast was really good, and the rooms are really clean.

A little old and worn

You can’t go wrong with Doubletree, but this one failed to meet my expectations. Everything seemed a little dirtier and older than other DTs. It was a nice enough hotel, just not the quality I’ve come to expect. The staff was courteous and went out of its way to help when asked, so for that I give it four stars instead of three.

Complete ripoff for the price

I traveled to Denver with my boyfriend for a short vacation, and picked this hotel because it has decent reviews. But I was not expecting the hotel to be under renovation. Areas of the hotel that have already been redone are fine, but my room was not up to the standards I’ve come to expect from a Hilton hotel. The window was filthy, the shower was awful, the bed was a lumpy nightmare, and the television had a horrible signal that kept skipping and freezing periodically. Further, they put an automatic $50 hold on my room for incidentals on top of me paying the balance when I got there. If you charge anything to the room they take it out of that $50. In my mind, if I’m paying for the room upfront, any charges to the room should be billed at checkout. They also had an indoor pool with an outdoor hot tub, not ideal for November. For the price, I was expecting more and wish if I was going to be given an out of date room that I would have gotten more of a discount.

Hotel close to venues and shopping.

Friendly, professional staff. Stayed for 4 days and had to ask for maid service to clean the room. That should be a given.

Good location and nice rooms

Enjoyed the stay as it was close to the amenities we wanted to use. Downtown was close enough and the football stadium as well. Easy check out and in. Good restaurant except a little expensive and not breakfast after 11 am especially on Sat and Sun.

Our stay was okay

The hotel is partly refinished, lobby was under construction. Felt like a old hotel with somethings remodeled like the restrooms. But it was all there pool, hot tub, restaurants, and bars. Even a coffee stop with breakfast items. If your staying in that area it was a nicer hotel.

It was great. Customer service was on point. Very helpful when I left my cell phone in the after I checked out
