When I checked in in the afternoon, the lady at reception was very nice, as were the ladies later in the day. However, I had to walk in the rain three or four blocks to find a place to eat (Ruby Tuesday, where one can eat at any city in the country -- very ordinary). The room was reasonably clean, other than the fact that one of the two packages of coffee accessories (sugar, creamer, stirs, etc) had been opened and not replaced. Also, the coffee maker was missing its lid, which upon later inspection apparently was to trip open the bottom of the brewing reservoir, so the coffee overflowed into the tray under the machine while I was in the shower. I was going to tell the desk attendant in the morning, but waited for a good while, and no one appeared. The shuttle was leaving for the airport, so I had to go. Also, the place, despite the fact that I had reserved the room weeks in advance, was far too expensive for nothing but three floors of ordinary sleeping/showering quarters with no amenities but food vending machines and free self-serve "breakfast", and out with nothing but other hotels in the plains by the airport. Poo! Next time I'll stay downtown where there a good eateries, and take a later flight.
