Overall, the hotel was very nice. Close to the 16th Street Mall, so easy to catch a ride on the bus. Valet parking is a bit on the expensive side, and the drain in my shower/tub needed a major cleaning. Water piled up while showering and took a long time to drain, leaving a nasty residue.

Long weekend to visit family

Posted Sep 24, 2016
Pros: Efficient and friendly staff; clean and spacious room; convenient location.
Cons: Nothing
Location: 2 blocks from the 16th St Mall; street life, lots of shops and restaurants. The free shuttle goes along 16th St, from Union Stn to Broadway.
My wife and I stayed 4 nights recently, and were very impressed overall with the efficient and caring staff, the decor and the location. Our room was everything we could ask for; the bar in the lobby quite upscale; breakfast every morning at the Pub 17 very filling, with lots of choices. Check-in and check-out were a breeze; the health facilities user-friendly ( would have brought my tennis gear if I'd known there was even a tennis court!) Very satisfied with the valet service; I saw previous comments that were critical about the fee, but it was worth it for the convenience, I thought. A great choice for the Downtown Denver area, minutes from the 16th St Mall and easy access to lots of museums and restaurants. Will definitely stay there on our next visit!

Pricey

Nice enough hotel but way overpriced for what you get. Really close to downtown denver only drawback is dealing with all the homeless trying to panhandle from you constantly wherever you go outdide of hotel. Hoyel id all non smoking but 23rd floor consistently smelled of marijuana all night every night.

Couldn't really find the "Grand" in Grand Hyatt

Posted Sep 7, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: The bathroom could have been cleaner on our arrival
Location: Close to the 16th street pedestrian mall
Its clear that this is an older property that Hyatt tried to revive. The Denver Hyatt is a much nicer property.

We spent the extra money for a higher story with a view and it was totally worth it. Very enjoyable stay in a city hotel.
