Construction

Was not told ahead of time there would be construction going on in this hotel. If I would have known that I would have stayed at another holiday inn.

JUST A FEW GLITCHES

Hotel was nice despite the construction going on. Staff was great. The glitches​ we encountered were minimal. There was food left in fridge, clothes left in dresser, no toilet paper at all, and only enough towels for two even though the hotel knew there was going to be four of us.

Close to zoo but never again

The first night we were there was ok b/c we got there late. The next day our toilet clogged, then the next day our shower clogged, there was ONE working elevator & you can't take the emergency stairs up, only down, & the entire time the water was SCOLDING hot. We finally said something on the 2nd day b/c there was no way we could shower our kids. There was a children's soccer team there playing soccer in the halls until well after 11 PM & no staff members did anything about this until nearly midnight & the front desk person can easily see them from the desk. It was under construction but I didn't care about that, it was the other stuff...NEVER AGAIN, we paid $600 for 3 nights, rediculous!!!!

just ok

Room appeared updated but poorly designed. No counter top room anywhere in bathroom for toiletries or to set anything down, for example had to rest hairdryer on towel in sink while drying hair. Top of toilet was only spot to possibly set anything and that was small & already filled with sample products and toilet paper roll as there was no toilet paper dispenser in the room. Linens appeared old & tattered. No mirror anywhere in hotel room except over bathroom sink so had to take turns using mirror to get ready and no full length mirror anywhere even in hallway outside of room. Elevators extremely slow, had to wait several minutes each time.

Maybe Expedia could have mentioned the current renovations? Half the amenities listed are NOT as advertised.

The picture that they show online is not the same as the room. No arm chair to sit in and the air just blows and blows. Furniture had a bunch of scratches and the room was newly remodeled:

Great views!

Beds good for one night. By night four of five, I was ready to go. If not for the location I would not recommend. Wi-fi terrible and construction still going. 5/22/17 Denver is wonderful!👍💯420

Helpful staff. Nice room. Had a kuerig coffee machine in the room. Pleasant staff in the restaurant. They pay attention to detail. Right next to 70 for easy transportation. Hotel offers shuttle to train station. They held our bags after we checked out so we could go around town for one more day. Enjoyed my stay.

Needs remodeling

Pros: Spur Bar and Grill, beds very comfortable
In town for a concert, only in hotel for 5 hrs after concert.
