Okay hotel.

Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms are getting old and a bit beat up
Location: Location is really loud
If you have a room on Quebec, it is extremely loud from road noise.

Wallpaper & paint as makeup over an aged building

Location: There is a large "shopping area" across the street, Bass Pro and more shopping close by across the Interstate. Lots of chain and fast food restaurants
Hotel looks decent. Clearly has had upgraded decor. The rooms are OK size, but it's the first bathroom I've ever seen with a pedestal sink. Very little space for toiletries. A glass sink with sharp corners was just the height to hit me in the temple, which it did, once. Two washcloths and two towels, and that was it. Full wall of glass and sliding door let in way too much street noise, even on the 7th floor. The slider wasn't locked (I believe you could access them from neighboring balconies), and the lock was too high for me, at 5', to even reach without a chair. The room was too hot to sleep, but the A/C was so noisy I had to turn it off. I take a sleeping pill to sleep, but even so I was awoken at 1 a.m. by neighbors either opening and slamming drawers or doors repeatedly for hours. I called down to the front desk at 2, but it continued until after 4. The hotel staff said they were sorry but didn't seem to have any interest in making it right. I won't go back.

Very nice hotel.

Location: The location is kinda far from downtown and was about a $12 lyft ride. There were a few places to eat around there but getting on the highway is easy.
In Denver for the weekend and this hotel was very comfortable and clean. Didn't have any problems checking in and room service cleaned our room whenever we weren't there. I would recommend staying here.

This was my first time to Denver and I had no idea where to stay. I decided on this hotel due to the value and positive ratings. Upon arrival, I was going to write a bad review but they redeemed themselves. Our flight got in on a Saturday evening and by the time we got to the hotel it was around 8pm. Our reservation was for a room with 2 queen beds, but when we checked in they said they didn't have any rooms with 2 beds available. They claimed that booking through a 3rd party (such as Expedia) will not always guarantee a specific room type and all of the rooms we had a confirmation for were occupied. I never knew this, but lesson learned. The manager helped us out and got us the room we needed after about 30 mins. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. It was close to the highway so it only took us 10-15 mins or less to get anywhere we wanted. After the initial hiccup, we were pleased with our stay and grateful that management corrected the issue, including give us free drink/appetizer vouchers. It was worth the value and the food at the restaurant was decent.

Nice hotel, but noisy, and tiny bathroom

Posted Nov 5, 2016
Beautiful modern hotel, upscale common areas. The room (except for bathroom, see below) was spacious, with view and balcony. Very professional staff. But next time I will probably go elsewhere for reasons discussed below. First, my biggest criticism is the poor soundproofing in the room. Every night (I was there 3 nights) there was a deep and loud rumbling sound every few minutes which seemed to vibrate the entire room. I never could figure out what the heck caused it. Also, there is a main train track about a half-mile away, and the trains apparently are required to sound their horns in the vicinity of the hotel -- all night. I usually just turn the AC/heater fan on "low" to absorb outside sounds, but here (a) the "low" fan setting like "high" most places, i.e., very loud; and (b) even with the fan on, it didn't override the frequent rumbling noise or train horns. Second, the bathroom was tiny. Shower curtain was loose and drooped in its middle portion, making it was difficult to keep curtain closed while showering. Shower head only puts-out a narrow sparse stream. Third, for some reason my room got no service on the second day. No big deal in my case, but I thought that was rather odd.

While we’re glad our modern styling and spacious facilities really impressed, it saddens us that you’re considering other hotels for your next stay in Denver. Noise will soon be reduced once mandatory railroad testing in our area is finished. We hope you’ll reconsider and appreciate your feedback.
