Nice hotel, but noisy, and tiny bathroom

Beautiful modern hotel, upscale common areas. The room (except for bathroom, see below) was spacious, with view and balcony. Very professional staff. But next time I will probably go elsewhere for reasons discussed below.
First, my biggest criticism is the poor soundproofing in the room. Every night (I was there 3 nights) there was a deep and loud rumbling sound every few minutes which seemed to vibrate the entire room. I never could figure out what the heck caused it. Also, there is a main train track about a half-mile away, and the trains apparently are required to sound their horns in the vicinity of the hotel -- all night.
I usually just turn the AC/heater fan on "low" to absorb outside sounds, but here (a) the "low" fan setting like "high" most places, i.e., very loud; and (b) even with the fan on, it didn't override the frequent rumbling noise or train horns.
Second, the bathroom was tiny. Shower curtain was loose and drooped in its middle portion, making it was difficult to keep curtain closed while showering. Shower head only puts-out a narrow sparse stream.
Third, for some reason my room got no service on the second day. No big deal in my case, but I thought that was rather odd.

While we’re glad our modern styling and spacious facilities really impressed, it saddens us that you’re considering other hotels for your next stay in Denver. Noise will soon be reduced once mandatory railroad testing in our area is finished. We hope you’ll reconsider and appreciate your feedback.
