Renovations

Posted Aug 11, 2017
Hotel air conditioner sounded like a freight train. Asked for three days to be moved or for the ac to be fixed. Finally, engineer Josh (really pleasant and helpful) replaced the whole unit. Had no water upon returning one day from a day trip. Pool was under maintenance and all lounge chairs were broken. Our last day's late check out was spoiled by evacuation from fire alarm. Thank goodness Zachary, the manager, helped us at the end.

Holiday Inn - Stapleton

Posted Aug 5, 2017
Pros: Location was convenient wi lots of restaurants near.
Cons: Housekeeping staff should pay attention to details. Replace dirty towels and not leave cleaning items in rooms.
Hotel was under construction when we stayed. Only one elevator worked on the weekend when the hotel was nearly full. Front desk staff was very accommodating. Housekeeping staff was sporadic; no towels one day, didn't replace shampoo and left dirty dust brush on top of personal property on desk.

Great Stay

Posted Jul 21, 2017
They had everything I needed. Construction was going on but it did not get in the way. Great location around the best breakfast spots!

Outdated and under construction: Showed up and right off the bat the Door was jammed. Went inside and super hot. AC was frozen and not working. For breakfast you had to ask the front desk for tickets even though it was included. Door to patio did not work either. Maintenance was able to defrost AC and rig the door so that it would work. Paid full price for the bad experience.

Great!

Posted Jul 1, 2017
don't let the renovations scare you off! You can tell it's an older hotel that needs fixing up, which they're currently working on, but, our room was just fine! It was very clean, and we loved the balcony! The bed was also so so comfortable! There were a few minor cosmetic things we noticed, like the light fixture in the bathroom was old and kinda rusty, etc. which might bother some people, but everything worked properly and we were quite comfortable. Overall our stay was great, and I'd definitely stay here again! Happy travels!

Terrible.

Posted Jul 1, 2017
"Lost" my reservation 2x. Terrible staff. Broken ac. Construction in building makes it take forever to get to room and downstairs. Drink I was given from the bar was watered down and gross. Have to take elevators to exit building. WILL NOT RECOMMEND.

For one night it was doable

Posted Jul 1, 2017
They are currently renovating the hotel which isn't bad but it only 2 out of the 3 elevators worked. The bath tub drain had issues. There was no toilet paper holder it was just on the back of the toilet. And I was in a renovated room. The bed was way too soft and old. The worst part was that the ac was a loud noises wall unit and went off every 15/20 Minutes. I didn't get sleep. I don't think it was worth the price.

Basic hotel, clean, but lower end.

Posted Jul 1, 2017
Room smelled musty, wifi in room did not work. Door was difficult to close. Bathroom poorly designed with no counter. Clean and worked as a place to sleep, but not particularly nice.

I ve changed rooms 3times while I am staying. The sink is not working well the first one and it was crack and water damage on the ceiling the second one. It was ok the third one except some smell from air conditioner. Also,It was under renovation.
