Nice hotel, mixed experience

The hotel is well-located just off I-25 and surrounded by eateries within an easy walk. Our view from the 11th floor was wonderful. The room was well appointed with a desk, chair/ottoman and refrigerator. Room interior and hallways were a depressing muddy brown color. Pillows were plentiful but heavy and almost unbearable by the third night. Linens were dingy and well past the fluffy stage.
Our housekeeper was phenomenal, keeping our room pristinely clean for our 5-day stay. The hotel common areas are very pretty. There are citrus water stations located throughout. The gift shop has a great selection and a very engaging shop-keeper from Russia. Oddly, there is no reception/reservation desk, making one confused about what to do once inside the doors. The hotel is aware and has people stationed to guide you to reservation kiosks. Overall, a weird and uninviting experience.
