Nice place

Pros: Room and bathroom were nicely-sized, cozy furnishings in bedroom.
Location: Eh - you're close to 16th street Mall, and free mallride, but a decent walk to Union Station.
Rooms are still nice, classic Kimpton style. They are working on upgrading the rooms, I believe, but I didn't think ours was old or run-down looking/feeling at all. Staff is good, per usual, although we felt a little blown off during our first entrance to the hotel, as they opened the door for a man who had a "business trip" look, and then ignored us. Every thing else was great, they are very accommodating!

Well appointed hotel in Downtiwn Denver

Great hotel experience. Nice wine and beer reception every day. Beautifully decorated rooms and lobby. Only ding here is bed was not especially great. Highly recommend Panzano, the Italian restaurant in the hotel.

Denver Trip

Pros: Downtown and one block from the 16th Avenue Mall.
Cons: Beds were hard and uncomfortable
Location: location was great
Hotel is nice; staff friendly and helpful. Room was small.

Pros: Location, early morning coffee.
Cons: Room service came very late - we were out for the day and back at 3:30pm, and our room still wasn't cleaned. We ended up missing that day.
Location: 16th Street has all restaurants and shops. Union Station is also fun to walk to. Easy access to other Denver neighborhoods.
Loved the location and access to 16th St and Union Station. The attached restaurant, Panzano, was good for dinner and drinks. The scaffolding on the outside was disconcerting - we were not aware there was work going on at the hotel when we booked the room and it made it hard to actually see the hotel when we drove in. But overall our stay was very pleasant.

Double billed- no response

Pros: Pilliow catalog was spot-on Room was clean interesting lobby with cow
Cons: Billing practices and contact response.
Location: Everything in downtown Denver is a short walk, bus, or Uber away; very convenient.
I booked with expedia and was charged. The hotel ALSO charged my card for the same amount and when I attempted to contact them I got no response. The room was comfortable, nice pillow catalog and the room seemed clean. The view was of some kind of industrial equipment (air handlers?) and was very unappealing. The cow in the elevator lobby was a surreal experience, probably the highlight of my stay. Overall, I'd say the hotel was pleasant yet overpriced. I'll uber out of downtown next time for a better value.

No hot water.

Staff was friendly. No hot water in shower. Tap water scolding was hot at 3am.

My fiancé and I stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco for 3 nights, and it was incredible! The staff is absolutely amazing, the rooms are clean and a great size, and the location of the hotel couldn't be any better (it's right in the heart of downtown Denver). I would definitely stay there again!!

Great location

Wonderful stay for a girls weekend in Denver! Happy hour was a hoot in the beautiful lobby lounge....all guests, including dogs had a grand time! Staff was the best we had experienced! We were given a goldfish for our stay....we named him "Joey". The adjacent Italian restaurant was Devine. Will be back! Love the hotel👍

Similar price to other hotels but so much better

Freebies everywhere - happy hour snacks and drinks, earbuds in the exercise room, beverages daily. The staff was amazing and took the time to guide me around, offered to get me anything I needed. The attached restaurant was amazing! It was the reason why I booked and it did not disappoint. The beds are great (offering two kinds of pillows), and you can't beat the location. No complaints at all. Amazing.
