I have been staying at this hotel for many years. They have always done a great job and continue to do so. It had been a while since I had stayed there and I was impressed that it was just as great as the last stay a few years ago!

Nice hotel, centrally located downtown Denver

Pros: Good location and spacious rooms.
Cons: Hotel reception staff did not provide much information when I checked in and my room's hvac system was both loud and didn't work very well.
Location: Right off the bus mall where there is lots of shopping and convenient access to museums and Union Station where you can take the train to/from airport
I checked in around 10 pm and staff were not particularly welcoming, however, when I checked out a few days later the staff were very nice. My room was spacious, but a bit noisy. The hotel restaurant was terrific, and it's a great location right off of the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver.

Cons: Free wifi slow (2.5mps). Since no cell service made call over wifi poor.
Location: Great location. No shuttle at all. All hotels around would drop you at all locations local.
Hotel has zero att cell service, no coffee in room, bed to firm, and bathroom pretty small. Tv system was cheap. Nice friendly people but we could have had the same room at a 50 dollar hotel.

Terribly uncomfortable! Our room was in the corner and the window looked out INTO the parking garage so we had no natural light which made the room dark and gloomy - also because there were only 2 lamps to provide light. The bathroom had one very skinny mirror which did not provide enough room for 2 people to get dressed. We literally had to let the water in the shower run for 7 minutes (we timed it) before any hot water came out. On the last morning we stayed we decided to order room service for breakfast. It was $64 for two of us, and the eggs were powdered and uneatable. We will not be staying at another Kimpton Hotel.

Great location - small room.

Pros: Location, lobby, staff, wine tasting and 5 minute back rubs.
Cons: Maid service before 4 o'clock in the afternoon.
Location: 16th Street Mall, and all that goes with it, only a block and a half away. Once you get to 16th St. the free shuttle makes getting around a breeze.
Staff was great but our room was tiny and ill equipped. Maid service didn't show up until 4pm.

Great hotel. Lousy room service (quality of food after midnight). To be fair they were professional enough to reimburse the meal.

NOT SO GREAT THIS TIME

Pros: The one brilliantly shining star was the older gentleman who brought our luggage to our room. He was upbeat and interesting to speak with
Cons: Clean the rooms thoroughly other than routine vacuuming and dusting.
This was our second stay here. Not nearly as enjoyable and pleasant as our previous stay. The hotel desk clerk was efficient but robotic and not at all friendly. Additionally, although our reservation through Expedia indicated we had free wi-fi she insisted we did not. She indicated that Expedia puts that on all their hotel reservations even though it is untrue. We had to run the hot water in the shower for a good 15 minutes before we had any hot water. The room and the bathroom could use a good thorough cleaning. All in all disappointing. The one brilliantly shining star was the older gentleman who brought our luggage to our room.

Nice hotel, great location

Be aware that you will have to pay $42 a day for parking!! Expedia should give that info to their costumers! We went there thinking everything is covered and had to spend extra $300 just for parking!! BTW there is no gym or spa there, they are separated business. We had a great time, luckily we had some extra money to spend, but what happens when ppl don't have anything extra? When they think everything is covered with their package? expedia needs to inform their costumers what are the signing for!
