Busy, by the highway and looking beat-up!

Pros: The only thing that saved our experience from being a 2 or 1 was the single staff members that worked the desk. Both we encountered were very sweet.
Cons: Cleanliness, linens, public areas, pool area, lobby area, breakfast buffet food, etc...
Location: Red Rocks, Fiddler's Green, Denver, Golden...tons to do close by
When we arrived, our already tempered and lower than average expectations were confirmed just by the look of this very worn and used hotel. When we checked in, we found out that the place gets close to selling out almost every night and is constantly busy because of the 'gold mine' location next to several attractions and venues. There is very little staff and the amenities are limited. But it is a La Quinta Inn.

easy access to freeway and close to Red Rocks

Pros: eary to find. Close to the freeway.
Cons: There were dead bugs in the bathroom.
Location: Red Rocks Ampitheater.
It was a nice room and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom could have been cleaner. There were dead bugs behind the bathroom door.

Pros: location, price, clean
Cons: new firm mattresses would be nice.
Location: Denver! Tons of stuff to see and do. Too much to list.
Not bad, but not outstanding. Worth what we paid for it. The good -- reasonably priced, close to freeway, clean The bad -- Fire alarm sounded at 4 AM. Went on for about 40 minutes. Staff said that somebody pulled the fire alarm. Then later they said somebody was tampering with the smoke alarm. Either way, it was not a good stay. Soft mattress.

This was not a great stay due to the broken thermostat in our room. It was either freezing or roasting, no in between.

Good hotel in Golden

Pros: Clean Rooms, friendly service
Cons: more than one toaster and more seating at breakfast
Location: Golden Colorado. We went to see the bell that our great grandfather brought in on his freight wagon for the Baptist Church in Golden
The staff were really friendly, helpful, and accommodating. One of the guests was very loud and when we called the desk, it was handled immediately. When we went down for breakfast, it was clean and the food was really good. The only thing I think was needed at the breakfast was more than one toaster and maybe more seating. Thanks for a great stay.

Pros: Close to my family.
Cons: The first day I tried the handicap shower without a shower chair was impossible. The staff could have asked if I needed a shower chair.
Good. If I needed anything the staff was very responsive.
