Nice Hotel centrally located for my needs.

Posted Aug 7, 2017
Pros: access to major roadway to go North or South to attractions.
Location: Nice shopping area and plenty of places to eat nearby. Within a two hour drive was Pikes Peak, Rocky Mountain National Park, Red Rocks etc.
This was a great place to stay and a really nice hotel even though it is under a considerable remodel at present time. Despite the ongoing work, they had a really good schedule and stopped working when we were there most of the time. Staff was helpful and seemed to go out of their way to be friendly and provided us with good information each time we asked. Thanks for a great vacation stay!

Not what I expected

Posted Aug 3, 2017
When I booked this room, I booked it because the website advertised that they would shuttle to the airport and we could leave our car parked for a daily rate. Upon check in was told that is no longer a service they provide. The breakfast they offer is $17 per person, really? For the amount of money they charge per night breakfast should at least be less expensive. Twice that evening we had to evacuate the hotel due to the fire alarm going off. We were on the 9th floor and my aunt who does not get around too well had to go down those stairs which was very difficult. The second time staff brought a wheel chair to assist her back to the room, which was appreciated. We were also told that they would be shutting off the fire alarm for the rest of the night. Not very comforting. They are remodeling and that is very obvious by the amount of dust and trash in the hallway. Their toilets are not very accessible for handicap people due to sitting very low to the floor. Could have stayed at a Super 8 and had a better experience.

Dear Jammie, we appreciate the feedback and so sorry for the disappointing experience. We know fire alarms can be a nuisance especially late at night, but we take your safety very seriously and never want to take any chances. We are so sorry for the inconveniences this cause you and your Aunt. We would love to welcome you back for a much improved overall experience the next time you are in the area. We will work hard to earn your trust back. Thanks again for being our guest. Regards, Brian Lenfestey General Manager

Hotel for the Young

Posted Jul 25, 2017
We stayed at this hotel while we attended an event at the convention center downtown. The hotel was easy to find and the staff was very polite. Our room was located far away from the many youth sports teams that were also staying at the hotel. THANKS! This hotel attracts a youthful set of people as they have really LOUD pumping music in the evening in the lobby and outside where you unload your car. The music was so loud that I had a very hard time hearing the lovely hostess that checked us in. We did get an affordable rate per night, but this did not include parking, breakfast, or internet. If your room has ear plugs provided in the bathroom, use them. Honking trains came by starting around midnight through about 5:30 am. My son was in another room and was not bothered by the trains at all. All in all, this was a good place to stay and we felt pretty safe although it was a bit far from downtown.

Short stay

Posted Jul 9, 2017
Undergoing renovation but did not affect us too much. Lobby is palatial, decor impressive. Breakfast buffet was expensive, did not have it. Did not have wifi, did not want to pay 10 to 15 extra. Tv not good, staff replaced immediately. Alarm on clock did not work, staff offered replacement but just used phone and wake up call.

2 nights

Posted Jul 5, 2017
Pros: Clean and the style
Cons: more organized and have nice staff.
Location: N/A
I like the hotel because it's clean but I didn't like the location and the staff! I had a reservation for two beds and they gave me one bed for the two nights without refunding me anything. The person who checked me in didn't even say sorry for that which is very bad in my point of view! Doesn't worth the money I paid honestly.

Great Hotel and close to highways and shopping.

Posted Jun 26, 2017
Pros: location and room views! Love having a walk out balcony!
Cons: Tell customers when booking hotel is under construction. Thought breakfast was included and it wasn't- that was a bummer.
We had a great experience, other than there was construction going on in the hotel and we didn't know that when we booked. The room is great and balcony on every room! Awesome being so close to highway and shopping. I do wish breakfast had been included with the room.

Nice hotel, but under construction

Posted Jun 25, 2017
I wasn't happy to find that the hotel was undergoing a massive renovation. There was plastic on 50% of the balconies making it look like a work zone, vacuums and commercial tools left in hallways and construction noise (although limited to work hours) the pool was small and did not look well maintained, one hot tub was closed the other was drained and there was a train near by you could hear honking it's way through the traffic passes every hour or so. The 17$ a person breakfast.... I would pass on it. The rooms were big and nice and comfy beds with great linens but I would not book here again. The staff was somewhat apologetic about the construction but essentially unhelpful.

Close to places i needed to see

Good places. Under renovation. Bed was terrible. Noisy room with freeway outside. At breakfast, everyone else had a coupon for breakfast from hotel, except me that is.
