Downtown

Posted May 20, 2017
Pros: Close to downtown
Cons: More affordable parking, add a hot tub to pool area
Location: Coffee, great restaurants and downtown activities
The hotel is okay but parking is awful, hard to get to and very expensive. If that wasn't bad enough my room key wasn't working to get in and out so I had to use my credit card so I ended up getting doubled charged for parking. Not worth what you end up paying when you add taxes and the large parking fees

Dear Lucy, Thank you for telling us about your stay. We are sorry to hear your stay could have gone better. It is nice to know you valued our excellent location in downtown Denver. We appreciate your suggestion to add a hot tub to the pool area. It is unfortunate your room key was not working in conjunction with our parking garage’s entry and exit system; the next time this happens, we encourage you to let us know about your troubles and we will do the best we can to make things right. Street parking is always an option, but we do hope the convenience of having in-and-out privileges in a secure downtown location was convenient during your stay. We hope you will stay with us again at some point so we can provide you with a much better stay next time. Sincerely, Tony Dunn General Manager

Downtown, convenient

Posted May 16, 2017
Pros: Comfortable bed, great ironed sheets
Cons: the shampoo was horrid-a day later my hair was dirty
Location: Right on the 16th street mall-tons of places to eat and things to do
The only issue we had was signage. When we came back to the hotel in the evening, the elevator signage did not indicate that the bank of elevators went up to the rooms. You need to read other reviews about the Tower to understand that everyone who stays over there is confused-and it turns out we were no different. We roamed around for 10 minutes trying to locate the correct elevators and finally saw a staff person to ask. We really wanted to point out that the signage seemed to suggest that the elevators went down to the garage and "coucourse" but were just happy to not be looking any more. FIX THE SIGNAGE BY THE ELEVATORS AT THE STREET ENTRANCE. The room was small-definitely the tower is a meeting hotel meant for one person, but it was comfortable for one night for two.

Environmentally friendly housekeeping means none

Posted May 10, 2017
Pros: Location, room size.
Cons: Housekeeping policies, better training of front desk to provide quick check in and to HELP guests, not argue with them or provide lame excuses.
Location: Easy walk to art museum, right on free mall bus line, plenty of food nearby.
I stayed at this hotel because I was attending a conference there. It is a huge facility. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean upon arrival. As I always do, I picked the environmentally friendly housekeeping option--no need for changed linens or fresh towels when only there three nights. On the first day, this meant housekeeping without my bed made--odd, but tolerable. On day two, NO housekeeping--trash not emptied, bathroom not wiped down, nothing. When I went to ask the front desk about this at 5:30--I'd been at the conference all day, the staff said "maybe they haven't gotten to it yet." He also argued that environmentally friendly housekeeping meant none at all. UMMMMM, not at an expensive hotel. Check in was also very slow--I waited in line for twenty minutes.

Dear Beth, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. It is nice to know you enjoyed your spacious, comfortable room and our excellent location. We regret any longer-than-usual wait times you might have experienced while checking in. We will be sure to take your suggestions regarding additional training into careful consideration. We apologize for the misunderstanding about our Make a Green Choice housekeeping option. Your feedback will be passed along to our managers in the housekeeping department to see if we can come up with a better “in between” system for those who want full cleaning services except for replacement of linens and towels. We hope you will allow us an opportunity in the future to create an all-around amazing hotel experience for you. Sincerely, Tony Dunn General Manager

Loved our visit

Posted Apr 24, 2017
The hotel was centrally located to all sites and access to transit mall bus which was free. It was simple to slip back to room to relax and get back out there. The breakfast cost extra when booking room but it was a fresh cooked real breakfast with great fruit and real sausage and the works. We will stay again

Great hotel in the Heart of Downtown Denver

Posted Apr 19, 2017
Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, no bed bugs found, great fitness center, close to attractions and transportation
Cons: Pool area could be nicer, no hot tub
Location: So much to do! Right in Downtown!
We arrived Friday, April 7 much earlier than the check-in time of 3pm hoping they would be able to accommodate us. Jess was at the front desk and was more than gracious about getting us in early. She went above and beyond by giving us vouchers to have breakfast while we waited and then took my number so that we would get a text when the room was ready. Just as we finished enjoying the breakfast buffet, not bad considering it was free, we got the text. Again Jess went above and beyond by not only getting us the room we requested (King bed, mountain view) early, but she also put us way up on the 19th floor to get one of the best views possible. In addition, before I could ask, Jess offered us a late check-out for our departure date. She definitely ensured our stay in Denver started and ended well and we were able to enjoy all of our time there. The hotel itself is older and very large. There are two buildings and our room was located in the Tower Building. The hotel has been renovated and the rooms and facilities are pretty modern. The rooms do not have mini fridges but we called down and requested one from the front desk and a maintenance man promptly brought one up, for no charge. The best part, for me, was the fitness center. It is large, fully updated and has lots and lots of equipment. I used everyday I was there. Another thing I noticed was that the hotel almost always had a really pleasant smell in the common areas and hallways.
