I think I expect too much

My biggest thing is the fact the entire place smells like an ashtray. I'm a non-smoker and they claimed to be a non-smoking facility. The marijuana smell was really thick on my floor for my stay. They made us sign a no smoking doc but I guess the other guests apparently don't care about it.
All the entrances around the building are secured except for one. Someone somehow found a way to prevent the door from actually latching.
The room itself is what you would expect for the price but I just didn't find it completely comfortable. The blanket was too thin and asking for another didn't really help. I guess I just expect too much.
I was in town for a funeral. I needed to use their guest washer/dryer unit. Somewhere in between the wash and dry my shirt and pants were ruined by what appeared to be grease stains. My clothes didn't have them prior. I was forced to buy new clothes. When I needed to use the ironing board, the board itself was very unstable and the iron didn't function well, the steamer didn't steam and the iron didn't get very hot.
The only thing that was okay was the shower and the blow dryer. But the blow dryer holster was barely hanging on the wall.
The ultimate truth I get from my stay is that the guests don't think of their fellow man while staying at locations like this. I simply wanted to save a little money as this funeral trip was an unexpected finance but next time I'm going somewhere with higher grades and better amenities. You get what you pay for.
