Convenient hotel in Golden
The staff was very friendly upon check-in and I love that they provided complimentary waters to us. The room was spacious, and we received an upgrade to what we originally booked which was very nice. The location was convenient to get around town, as we were there for a wedding down the street. We were able to walk to the wedding venue as well as several other restaurants during our stay. The only downside was that the windows may need some additional soundproofing. Our room faced a street and a restaurant, and each night we heard either loud music and people talking at the restaurant, or various cars, and trucks, including several semis that were unloading supplies at the restaurant. Even being on the third floor, this was quite loud, and impacted our stay more than expected. It looks like this restaurant has only been open a few months, so perhaps the hotel did not have this issue in the past, but it might be something they need to look into in the future. Particularly on Saturday night, the restaurant was open until 2AM with very loud music the entire time.

Thanks for your feedback. We are installing new windows in the coming month or two in every room. I'm sure you can understand we don't have control of what the other businesses in our area do- like the restaurant across the street.

Not worth the high price
For $532 for one night (taxes included) it was not worth the stay. The front desk and bar staff were phenomenal. The room was not the corner view that we thought and the bathroom door stuck and was very hard to close and open. We could clearly hear our neighbors and their dog. They had to let him run up and down the hall a few times. The air conditioning would not stay leveled. We had to get up a few times during the night to turn it down as it was hot!

Probably the Nicest Downtown Hotel In Golden CO.
Great location in Golden near the creek and 1 block from downtown. All restaurants and stores are walkable. Free parking behind hotel and easy off-main-street access to lot. Nice bar and lounge area, as well as comfortable seating options around hotel interior and exterior as well as on every floor. Clean spacious room with plenty of towels. Bath amenities in refillable bottles rather than individual packages. Keurig coffee machine and lots of pods in room. I believe this is a step up from the Table Mountain Inn (which I stayed at the week before). Definitely recommend if within your budget.

This is the place to stay if you are in Golden, Colorado! The hotel is well-appointed, great food at the Bridgewater, rooms are clean and comfortable. You can walk just a few steps into town to shop, eat, and drink. There's a beautiful river walk trail right outside of the hotel for walking/biking/running. We were there on a weekend and the area was bustling with people tubing down the river. We loved the hotel and the area. Highly recommend!

Grossly overpriced. Seemed like an old old hotel that had some renovations. Room was huge but dark. No view. Bathroom very old fashioned—no separate shower. None of the housekeeping staff spoke English

Golden Hotel is in a great location in Golden along the river. It's peaceful and convenient to shopping with easy parking. Room was clean and updated. Only suggestion would be for management to get blackout curtains in the rooms. We had no way of making it darker and in the morning, the sun was bright and woke us up. : ( Otherwise nice restaurant and staff.

It was charmingly cozy, welcoming, and being an older hotel, the walls between rooms were well insulated so I didn’t hear anyone in adjoining rooms.

We ALWAYS LOVE staying at the Golden! First time traveling with our dog - front desk greeted him with a dog toy! Great access to everything downtown and adjacent to the scenic walking path!

Beautiful hotel by the stream. We got a free unexpected upgrade and a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff were wonderful and helped with any questions. Bridgwater Grill on site had excellent food and all the dining and bar staff were friendly. Would book there again!
