Judy and Dennis were gracious hosts. We really enjoyed talking to them each morning at breakfast. The breakfasts were impeccable. And our room and bath were clean and comfortable. We most certainly recommend The Silk Pincushion. It was our first time doing a bed and breakfast, and the experience exceeded our expectations. We would love to stay there again if we ever make it back to Golden!

Best Bed and Breakfast I have ever stayed at!! The owners, Dennis & Judy put love and care into the property and it's guests! It was like staying with Nana and Papa... Wholesome people who have breakfast with their guest... Great conversation along with great food that Judy makes every morning. The room was magnificent, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Don't miss this gem of a B&B.

The property overall is beautiful and has a nice Victorian feel. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfy, and the shower had great heating and water pressure. The couple that own it are incredibly and breakfast was delicious.

What I like the most is it was everything that I saw when I saw the opening picture on Expedia, and more Judy and Dennis were so fantastic easy laid-back, Judy is a wonderful cook both mornings breakfasts were amazing, but yet easy for her to do for everyone. Love the whole Victorian feel exactly what we wanted to do. Thank you so much Judy and Dennis for a wonderful time.

This bed and breakfast was the best place I’ve ever stayed in the USA. I’ve been to all inclusive resorts and the silk pincushion did not disappoint. Dennis and Judy were a delight to be with at breakfast. Judy made wonderful scones and egg pastries. Their house is beautiful and our room was so comfortable. We felt at home. The property is walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We hiked and explored Golden, Colorado. If we come back we definitely will stay at the silk pincushion again. Thank you Dennis and Judy.

Our 4-night stay was fantastic. Hosts were more than accommodating. Room and house were clean, well kept and very cozy. Breakfast was tasty and more than enough. We could come and go easily and at anytime. I would highly recommend The Silk Pin Cushion Inn for your stay in Golden. Easy walk to downtown and always felt safe. There is nothing I would change about the location or accommodations! Great visit to Golden!

Excellent stay, beautiful house two blocks from downtown Golden and the Coors Brewery. Dennis and Judy are excellent hosts. Breakfast was superb, as was the company. Dennis and Judy joined us and the rest of the guests at breakfast and we all sat and talked for at least an hour. We will definitely be back!

Staying at the Silk Pincushion was AWESOME!! Judy and Dennis are great hosts. Perfect location to downtown Golden and close to Red Rocks for our concert. Dennis gave us great recommendations for a drive through Guenella Pass which was breathtaking!! Rooms very comfortable. Breakfast was great. We had to leave at 5 AM to catch a flight and Judy packed us scones and fruit. 5 star recommendation! Will definitely return when we come back to Red Rocks!!

Friendly Folks
A very friendly place to stay. They made the experience just like we were coming home to our own house. An easy walk into town that kept the noise down especially on a Saturday night. Rooms are suitable for a couple and would be a little crowded with a child.

Skip the hotel and stay here. Dennis and Judy make you feel right at home with a fantastic breakfast every morning. The house is a 3 minute walk to Downton Golden and you can come and go as you please with perfect privacy.

It is like a big doll house. Imagine if you could visit your long deceased grandmother again and she would cook you your favorite treats from when you were a child. That is the hosts and their breakfast. We loved our stay and will be back.
