Great stay!

Great service, great area we will definitely return again. The hotel was clean, the people are friendly, the overall atmosphere was phenomenal.

Overnight

Pros: Close to the office.
Location: Downtown is very walkable and the choices for food and sightseeing are great. Lunch or dinner at The Palm is always a treat.
I just stayed downtown overnight for a company Christmas party. The room and staff were great.

Hotel was beautiful, however it is one that charges for everything. The management is great. We had a dirty sock left in our room, wasn't a huge deal to us but they moved us to another room and gave us credits to use for room service.

Someone made a mistake and checked me out of the hotel a day early. When I told the staff member that I had booked to checkout the 4th, she told me I had only booked for one day. She than had me talk with the "desk manager" "Steve." He repeated that I had only booked one night. I showed him my confirmation # and he stated that that confirmation was for only one night stay and that Expedia had only charged me for one night. I told him I had booked the flights and hotel together so why would get a flight to leave the 4th and only stay in the hotel till the 3rd. I was than told that the hotel was sold out and that they would try to get me a room at the "Sheraton." When I went online showed the desk manager my itinerary, proving that I had booked 2 nights, a "miracle" happened and the hotel "grew" another room! The room I was in was no longer available. The stuff I left in the bathroom was thrown out. They returned the items I left in a drawer. They should have just admitted that they made a mistake. That is understandable. The lies were not!

Expensive parking...

Great location and super comfortable beds. The shower though wasn't functioning properly. And also when you park in the hotel parking garage, they don't tell you that you have to pay for it, which it is expensive parking, we got charged $32 for one night (we could have found way cheaper parking else where). We paid good money for a nice room, I guess I kind of expected the hotel to validate free parking!

The parking facility is a separate entity from The Westin; however, we do offer $40 night valet parking with in and out privileges as a convenience for our guests. I agree, parking in garages in the downtown area is expensive. I'm glad; however, that you enjoyed our super comfy beds. Happy Holidays!

Not that great for the price

Didn't appreciate being told that I'd have to move rooms only to find out after packing all my things that I did not have to move.... the staff does not seem to know what they're doing and I was only able to get information from the manager as all the other front desk associates seemed lost.
