Nice hotel with a few maintenance issues

Pros: Proximity to workplace, shopping.
Cons: Hotel maintenance (noted above).
Location: Central location, with easy access to major highways
We enjoyed our stay, primarily due to the hotel's proximity to Company activities. We appreciated that the hotel was within walking distance of nice restaurants. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts, the snacks, and newspapers. Our room, however, had some maintenance issues: Shower head needed repair, paint on door to bathroom was flaking away due to humidity, bathroom sink would not hold water in basin, due to no working stopper. We could hear other visitors through the walls, and could hear others walking in the rooms above ours. The plumbing was noisy; but, we were able to overcome the distractions by leaving the air conditioning fan running. The price we paid was not what we anticipated when booking the room, with several hidden fees. Hotel staff was friendly, giving helpful travel directions.

Pros: The staff from the front desk to the housekeepers and everyone in between were very friendly and always willing to assist when possible.
Cons: There were candy wrappers left under the bed from a previous guest, which was a little disappointing.
The stay was pleasant, we were only there for a short time as we have family that we were visiting nearby.

I was charged a "smoker/pet" fee to "understand that I couldn't smoke or have a pet. Which, by the way we don't and we left the dogs in a kennel. Now I have to wait 2 business days to have the money returned., and as of this time on Monday, I still don't have my money back. I know it has only been 1 business day, but I am outraged about the fee in the first place. I won't be staying at a Wyndham hotel in the future.

We appreciate your feedback and thank you for your stay.The $150 is not a fee but a deposit in case there are any other incidentals. We do have the deposit listed in the Expedia website to properly inform guest before arrival.

Was a very nice relaxing night here after a busy week of sight seeing. Was our most liked hotel during our trip. Had no issues and would stay again if in the area.

Will hold your a big deposit

So they tell you nothing about a $150 hold that they will put on your card in case of incidentals. Nothing is said before or during the booking process and then you show up to check in and then they demand this deposit. Oh and they will hold it for THREE business days AFTER you check out. Not happy about that at all. So take pictures when you get ready to leave to make sure you get your money back. Other than that it was a good stay.

I was thrilled with the price and hotel room but the staff member that I met was not inviting/ welcoming and barely spoke to me. Was not a great feeling walking in but the rest of the stay was nice.

Excellent hotel for the price!

The hotel was perfect for us. I chose it because it was close to my cousin's home. The price was great and we were very comfortable. The staff was friendly, the room was very comfortable we were very happy.
