No Hotel but better than.

Firstly, Expedia should consider how they word their questions. Do not assume that everyone stays at a Hotel, so why not word it as 'Rate Your Accommodation'
The questions suggests we all stay at a hotel. That is not always the case so the answers may not reflect correctly. In our case it was a Guesthouse. That is quite different to a hotel. In our case the guesthouse in question didn't have anything like the amenities of a typical average standard hotel with a restaurant or bar or leisure facility. What it did have was all the very best of the basic things right but at a level that was more inclined to reflect a 4/5 star hotel rating. Sure, the price was above average but then the quality of the room, the furnishings, the fittings and fixtures, the ensuite and cleanliness throughout exceeding that of most hotels i have generally experienced in the UK. Put that with the personal touch and you have excellence. Tell me how many hotels stand up to that and I'll pay the difference. Sadly there are very few and an indictment of the UKs indifference to change.
