Many area under construction

I understand that hotels go through updates and construction. But, there seemed to be no regard for the safety and comfort of guest staying this hotel during the work. I tripped over wood pallet that was laying in a walkway up to a poorly lit outside door. I used this door to avoid the lobby which was completely ripped apart.The wood palet was no where near an active construction sight. The microwave in the room was not clean. The lighting was very poor in the room. Desk chair was worn and arms gross.

A work in progress

Pros: The pool and spa were nice, as was the mini fridge
Cons: The desk chair's armrests were worn out and the lobby temperature was cold. Like I said, it's a work in progress, as the motel is being renovated.
Location: Not much nearby, but very easy to get downtown.
Since I checked in late, a wheelchair room was the only room available. The man behind the front desk got me a regular room for the next two nights.

Hotel was under construction so stuff was everywhere but still was nice! Breakfast could have been better stuff was not working might have been bcuz of the construction. Overall was great and we would definitely stay here again!!!

Pictures on website is a lie. Walked in hotel smelled of bug spray. Cockpots on table next to check-in desk was told this is where free breakfast is. Could not get into room, key not working staff tried three different times. Staff said, "you can use the hotel master key". Using new furniture to hide the true condition of the hotel. On website rate 4 stars try 1 star.

We waited up at the front desk for service for 15 minutes with nobody there to help us. I shouted hello multiple times tried knocking on the desk, and he just waltzed in 15 minutes later like there wasn't a line of people there. I paid $150 to stay in a room with a Jacuzzi in it. Come to find out it didn't even work. None of the jets, etc worked on it.

Apparently, Hotels.com booked us into a handicap room. We were told that was the only King room left. The room was nice but the bathroom was a bit awkward with no counter space and a "roll in" shower.

I am sorry that Hotels.com messed up. If that happens again let a desk clerk know that you don't need an accessible and most will do what they can to get you in a different room if it is available.
