Room was clean but too much scented spritz

Everything about the hotel was clean and comfortable, except they sprayed too much Fabreze spritz in the room, so it smelled and was quite annoying.

Very poor TV/internet service.

Pros: Location - close to the interstate and restaurants
Cons: TV and internet service
Location: Texas Roadhouse is an OK restaurant.
The internet was slow when it was working, and working only intermittently on the last 2 days of our stay. At the same time, the TV service was also intermittent. I'm not a fan of MediaCom, which is likely the cause of the poor service, but the hotel should consider another provider. Aside from that, the free breakfast was good, the food area always seemed clean and the staff was friendly.

Good hotel, better than average

Pros: Modern Style Hotel, Very updated. Good sized bathroom. Side entrance.
Cons: The noise, the noise, and the noise.
Location: Really close to downtown des moine, and movie threater right across the street
Was a good hotel, worth the money to stay there, but there was some things that I couldn't let go, it was so loud, like vacuuming 4 times a day, constant slamming of doors. You could not get any peace and quiet especially at night. It was very clean, had lots of room which I loved, and nice modern style hotel, but the noise would keep me from going back again. If you don't mind the noise you should be good and happy. Oh and no control of the room temp, Kept setting but it would not change to what I set it too. Which is a minor concern. Just unusual for hotels.

Great stay in Des Moines.

Rooms were super clean. Air conditioning and heating worked well during the stay. The only thing that bugged me was the staff concerning the continental breakfast. She was rude and complained about having people walk down for the breakfast when it was still open.

Large comfortable rooms

The hotel was nice and in a great location. Close to the highway and shopping/food. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I only stayed one night but the full kitchen would have been great for an extended stay. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I am back in the area.

Cons: Pool , Use Of Less Chlorine Would Be Nice . We Could Not Stay By The Pool With Out Irritation To Eyes Not Swimming Just sitting pool Side. elevators.
Location: Des Moine, Urban dale, Johnston, All Have Things For Family To Enjoy, Indoor Rock Climbing, Indoor Go Carts, Science Center, History Museum
elevators are at each end of hotel none in the middle, Lobby, Pool, Lounge, Front Desk, Front Door, Convenience Store, Exercise Room, All In The Middle , So Was Our Room On Third Floor....not real convenient. other than that and the pool (see Below) All Was Good.....

Cons: the maids knocked on our door and woke us up 1 1/2 hours before check out ... other than that is was great :)

Overnight stop.

Pros: All the comforts of home including a dishwasher and pots, dishes etc. Bed was comfy and the hide-a-bed was good enough for a great night of sleep!
Cons: no bacon or sausage or eggs or biscuits and gravy at breakfast (Saturday)
Location: Next door to Texas Roadhouse and many other places to eat nearby. Easy to get to downtown Des Moines without the hassle of parking fees etc.
Great hotel...will stop here again next time I need to stay in Des Moines!
